Purpose: The purpose of a reward and recognition program is to motivate and engage members of the Eagle County Sheriff’s Office to develop teamwork, respect and accountability. By establishing a program like this, it will allow members to feel as a part of a team and begin working together as one unit, or agency. By working on teamwork, respect and accountability; people will be empowered to help the other divisions with various tasks and break down barriers. Problem: Currently, employees feel they aren’t respected by specific people of other divisions or other divisions as a whole.
