Earthquake Persuasive Speech

El Niňo is coming! That might mean we’ll be deluged. It might also mean another year of drought. And either way, we live in semi desert. So don’t get your hope up too high.

I am sure that everyone of you have heard about aliens and UFOs. Indeed, we all have heard about the famous case of aliens and UFOs in Roswell, New Mexico. A natural disaster has hit the San Francisco area. A category 5 earthquake has destroyed what a lot of you know as home. My self and the first lady extend our deepest sympathy to all of you that’s been affected by this tragedy.

Since August 1, 2014 over 760 fires have burned through 27,829 acres in Utah. Over 380 of these fires are from human activity. I am writing to inform you of this major problem and to suggest ways to prevent most wildfires from happening. Now, we can’t control lighting and that has been a huge cause of wildfires in Utah, but we still have things we can do to keep us safe, and animals safe. Have you served in a war? Has your father or mother served in a war? How about your grandpa? As we honor those who have served we typically do so by standing for the pledge of allegiance or star spangled banner. We say thank you to our war heroes or we go and visit them and listen to their stories. In this paper I will be discussing why NFL players should not be allowed to kneel for the flag. Although the NFL players have the right to peacefully protest, they should find a different way than kneeling as it shows disrespect towards the flag also active duty military and veterans, it teaches young children this behavior is okay, what they are protesting has nothing to do with the flag and there are many different ways to get their message out.

The courage of the daring climber that attemps to conquer Everest exceeds most. He or she seeks to surmount one of Mother Nature’s most menacing obstacles. For many years, thousands of people have attempted to tame Everest. While a select few climbers make it to the peak, many end up not making it, sometimes with catastophic results. In my opinion, despite their obvious awareness of the risks involved, mountaineers should have the freedom to climb Mount Everest if they desire and shouldn't be blocked off from the mountain.

Just imagine yourself climbing at the top of Mount Everest. Pretty cool and daring right? Well right now there’s a debate whether we should keep it open or not due to it being dangerous and there being many deaths. Although that is true most people believe they should leave it open. It gives people a rush of adrenaline and it’s not like they’d let just anybody in, in order to climb big terrains you must have a license. So the people who lost their lives while climbing the mountain knew that their life was on the line while climbing. This essay/report will be an argumentative essay on how they should keep Mount Everest open.

Someone once said, “Terrorism is a significant threat to peace, security, prosperity, and people.” Terrorism is an event that happens where someone intentionally causes harm and or death to many people.
