Ukraine operates as a mixed economy meaning it includes a variety of private and government control. Ukraine has a poor economic freedom, ranked last in Europe. Economic freedom is important because it affects every aspect of an individual’s life. Living in a society with high levels of economic freedom leads to higher incomes, lower poverty, less unemployment, longer life expectancies, and cleaner environments, among a host of other benefits. More economic freedom improves well-being and leads to a higher quality of life. Conclusion In conclusion, we see that economic activities and resources do affect quality of life in a country, as well as how it operates, as shown here in the Ukraine. Pollution from industries has a major impact in Ukraine and on the people. It effectively makes the country adapt. In addition, the fact that it is a mixed economy impacts the people because this represents cooperation between the different people within the country.
