Eddy's Child Development

P As observed, Eddy has developed strong large muscle as he is capable to perform actions such as; walking, kicking, running, kneeling, pulling, climbing, crawling, scooting and bending without any assistance from the gym instructor. He is able to roam around without any physical unbalance. Eddy has a good sense of spatial awareness. This can be seen when he was able to avoid hitting his classmates while making a small swinging movement with his arms. He has a keen interest in physical activities which can be observed from his eager expression, physical activeness, and involvement. He has shown most of the characteristics of the development of gross motor skills. I Eddy shows a well developed intellectual mind that is appropriate for a two years old child. He is able to point to different parts of the body demonstrating good cognitive development. As observed, Eddy was attentive and responsive to instructions throughout the lesson. His ability to praise his classmates, "Haohao, beary good!" shows the development of pre-linguistic skills. Overall, Eddy is a happy and attentive child who is able to stay focus. This can be seen when he often positions himself beside the cabinet whenever the opportunity arises to observe the activities of the other children. He shows patience by sitting quietly while waiting for his turn to participate in the gym lesson. No fear factors were observed during his interactions with the gym instructor. He was able to complete the gym activities without any intervention. Eddy has a good rapport with his peers and teachers. Social interactions can be seen when he wrapped his arms around his classmate and mumbled into her ear. Rapport with his teacher is seen when he sat on her lap without qualms and did the 'high five' action when he completed the gym
