P As observed, Eddy has developed strong large muscle as he is capable to perform actions such as; walking, kicking, running, kneeling, pulling, climbing, crawling, scooting and bending without any assistance from the gym instructor. He is able to roam around without any physical unbalance. Eddy has a good sense of spatial awareness. This can be seen when he was able to avoid hitting his classmates while making a small swinging movement with his arms. He has a keen interest in physical activities which can be observed from his eager expression, physical activeness, and involvement. He has shown most of the characteristics of the development of gross motor skills. I Eddy shows a well developed intellectual mind that is appropriate for a two years old child. He is able to point to different parts of the body demonstrating good cognitive development. As observed, Eddy was attentive and responsive to instructions throughout the lesson. His ability to praise his classmates, "Haohao, beary good!" shows the development of pre-linguistic skills. Overall, Eddy is a happy and attentive child who is able to stay focus. This can be seen when he often positions himself beside the cabinet whenever the opportunity arises to observe the activities of the other children. He shows patience by sitting quietly while waiting for his turn to participate in the gym lesson. No fear factors were observed during his interactions with the gym instructor. He was able to complete the gym activities without any intervention. Eddy has a good rapport with his peers and teachers. Social interactions can be seen when he wrapped his arms around his classmate and mumbled into her ear. Children at two years – They are very much showing their individuality at this age. They know what they want to do touch and hold. They can now move confidently and are enjoying walking and being able to pick things up and play with them. They are keen to do things for themselves and often get frustrated when they can’t. Gustavo started Kindergarten this year, and he struggles academically. In pre-school, it was detected that Gustavo was not retaining most of the educational material, and he received additional support. He currently has an IEP, and his teacher voiced concern that he is not progressing at the expected pace. In terms of behaviors in the classroom, the teacher reported that Gustavo is mostly compliant and responsive to expectations; however, he struggles with attention span and is fidgety. The teacher decided to assign him special seating closer to her, so she could redirect him.

TK is a male child 3 years old of average size to the other students in the classroom. He attends the McGill Child Development Center. TK’s hair is brown and is neatly combed to one side of his head. His eyes are of a dark color. TK was participating in circle time with the other children in the classroom. He was taking turns with the other children when asked different questions from the teacher. This show TK’s is social skills are developing nicely as he is able to take directions from his teacher and sit quietly while others talk while sitting in a group. He was able to focus on the activity for about 10 minutes before becoming restless.

Alexander, Enrique, and Alexis are the names of the children I observed. They have different gross motor skills and fine motor skills. However, their differences are in the sophistication of each ability. Alexander, who is 7 years old is very active. He was jumping and trying to count by jumping on the tile floors to see how many there were across the living room. He is developing typically to his age. What has influenced this level of physical development is the amount of myelin in the brain increases and raises the speed at which electrical impulses travel between neuron. Which, makes massages reach muscles more rapidly and control them better. Enrique, in the other hand, his physical development is more sophisticated than Alexander’s.

Charlie builds the relationships with his educators in the Nursery room. He likes to join his educators and friends in the activities that he is interested in. He sits side-by-side his friends, enjoys the good times together such as singing a song, moving along the music and looking at the animal pictures and naming them. He especially loves to look at the pictures in the books and listen to his educator names each picture. He often pulls on his educator's arm and leads her to the book corner to read a book to him as to initiate and communicate his needs to his trusted educator (EYLF 1.1). He confidently makes his own choices in play and exploration of his surroundings. He is often seen exploring something in one corner of the room and loves to share his discoveries with his educator by getting her attention and pointing to what he finds, such as new toys or books in the corner, bird and airplane in the sky.
This paper has presented an argument on how a child’s development is strongly influenced by environmental and cultural influences as well as parenting styles and education. Children begin to learn and experiment with social skills at school, allowing them to learn and understand social skills necessary for later life in life. Children who receive schooling at an early age perform better later in academics. I hope that by teaching in the ways that I described will help me accomplish this. The most typical gross motor skills utilized by this young boy were rolling, walking, and running. In the first few minutes of watching the child he exhibited boredom and began to roll around on the couch. He used his long legs and strong arms to propel his body in a circular motion from one of the couch to the other. When the child needed to use the restroom, he shifted his weight evenly from one leg to the other pushing hard on the ground to maximize distance between each step. The walk from the bathroom to the couch was at a calm and leisurely pace. The body was kept in vertical alignment as the boy took smaller steps to reach his destination.
Mrs. L shared that he eats alone, but during recess he does have one friend he will play with basketball or soccer. Currently, his friend Daniel is the only student in the school that will play with him. Daniel attend the learning center together and both have Mrs. F as their general education teacher. Mrs. L. mentioned that at times the boys do argue with each other because they spend a long period of time together. Another area of concern Mrs. L has for Richard is his constant need to please others. Richard is an interactive student and wants his peers to welcome him when he tries to play with them. When his peers are welcoming to Richard, he tries to please them as best as he can. Richard will imitate his peers behavior or he will join along to what they are doing. His limited social interaction is a concern that Mrs. L wants Richard to continue to develop and limit bullying situations from occurring
During free play, Joshua’s social interaction with students are impeccable. Joshua would carry full blown conversations with his peers even though some words are not audible. The kids would laugh and scream showing signs of happiness and fun. But Joshua tends to clam up often times when Joshua interacts with large groups their is a level of encouragement in order for Joshua to participate gym. in large group activities such as gym and movement. In addition to Joshua receiving encouragement, Joshua would rely on token reward systems, emotional encouragement and praise throughout the day.
