Only educated women make educated decisions
Studies show countries with a highly educated women populace, women are deciding to hold off on having a family. Studies also show that in places of high poverty, women have more children.
It’s not a decision that helps improve the upward mobility of the family so much as it is a strategic decision that occurs because of lack of contraception, options, it may even be a matter of survival since these places have high child mortality rates more children equals one has the more hands working and ultimately a better chance parents will be taken care of when they get older by their child. It’s procreation unplanned and procreation that holds women back.
Not long ago, my mother and I expressed

I agree flawed policies exist, but it’s because of policies like these, set by our government, that the future of a child is no longer dictated by the marital status of a child’s parents.
Arguments against forced fatherhood
Most definitely men have less reproductive autonomy than women because men do not carry the child, are not ripped apart, giving birth to a child, do not have to suffer the experience of childbirth.
Men are aware of their sperm’s potential and it all could have all been avoided
A man may feel as though he “accidentally impregnated a woman,” however the moment he chooses to enter the woman he understands the potential consequences that come with this choice. Therefore, unless a man accidentally enters a woman without the intention of climaxing. a man does not accidentally conceive a child.
Should one’s chosen path, that leaves one with fewer options, be rewarded with deciding life choices for others? Should a man take precedence over a woman in her life decision she wants to make about her own future and body? Absolutely not! He can urge her to get can abortion, but ultimately the decision is hers to make because it’s her body and he gave up the option not to have a child when he partook in the act which conceived the child. The man may end up with years of paying child-support but the mother is stuck with society’s
Abortion is a controversial topic regarding the rights mainly of the fetus and the mother. Men’s rights and involvement are generally overlooked in the abortion process. Since females are the carriers of the embryo, most of the time the male’s input is not incorporated into the final decision. There are several debates regarding abortion and whose choice it should be to terminate the fetus. Every father has different expectations in a pregnancy and how much their decision should be included in the abortion depends solely on their involvement in the mother and embryo’s life. When the female deliberately engages in sexual intercourse, it becomes her responsibility to allow the fetus a right to her body and to include the father’s input. If
The mother keeps the child away from the father even if he is or is not paying support just because she can’t have that man. While support becomes the issues and not the child that thought alone of the father being put through this to satisfy the personal vengeance, and child suffers in the process.
Women should not be able to make decisions about how to live their lives. Clearly, by the looks of the statistics, with approximately 42 million abortions a year, women are foolish. Women should not have the option of deciding when or whether to have children. They do this by making choices regarding when to have sexual intercourse and what contraceptive methods to use. The government should have all the power to make these decisions. Abortion reflects a women's value, her family, and her career.
Who should be responsible for stopping the 120 million sperm that are released during a male orgasm from fertilizing a female’s egg? The context of that question has been a societal debate in terms of the consequences of unplanned pregnancy and whether it is a female, male or both sexes responsibility to practice “safe sex”. Introducing the birth control pill for women in the 1960s created a huge controversy between sexual conservatives and the women who would benefit from the pill, but the responsibility still remained in the hands of women. However, as medicine has advanced and the possibility of a male birth control pill has amounted, many wonder if the same issues would arise if a male birth control pill did in fact become
Abortion is an issue that has caused dispute within the government for many years. Is a woman correct in wanting the choice to decide what shall happen to her body? In an article entitled Eggs and Abortion: “Women Protective” Language Used by Opponents in Legislative Debates over Reproductive Health, written by Sujatha Jesudason and Tracy Weitz, this statement was made, "The liberal feminist approach emphasizes choice and autonomy, premised on a core belief in individual freedom and with the primary goal of minimizing government intervention in women’s reproductive decision-making." This is a declaration I identify strongly with. A woman's body cannot be a matter the government should be entirely involved in. The man or woman that signs anything disallowing the right to choose what happens inside my body or anyone else's would be making a
Men have a different way of creating reproductive fluids than women. Women are on a cycle that produces and destroys eggs within a given month and this continues for years until a woman can no longer produce eggs. Men, on the other hand, do not have a cycle and are constantly producing sperm at any given time. Giving the argument that men are “always” fertile (without any medical reasons to cause infertility). A mans sperm can create human life when in contact with an egg, however, an egg is not usually available unless a woman is ovulating. Ovulation occurs for a limited amount of days every month, while a man is fertile at
“It seems to me, from what I understand from doctors, that’s really rare,” Mr. Akin said of pregnancies from rape. “If it’s a legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down. But let’s assume that maybe that didn’t work or something: I think there should be some punishment, but the punishment ought to be of the rapist, and not attacking the child.”
That being said if two adults are having consensual unprotected sex then they should not have the option of abortion. If they did not want a child then they should not have had unprotected sex. If the woman ends up pregnant and does not want the child but the man does I believe he should have a say so because the child is just as much his as it is hers. Men are not given enough credit, he can raise the child on his own if the mother does not want it. It is not fair to the father for the mother to terminate a baby that is wanted by the father. The woman should not be allowed to abort the baby in this
There are many women that are unable to provide for a child’s needs or are not in the right state of mind to be able to raise a child. Many of those women either put the kids
Women that do not want to birth an embryo and have acquired pregnancy from a partner that does may cause the father to argue and convince the mother to use her body to carry his fetus to term. A great example of the fetus only being the male’s interest and pregnancy being the result from both partners engaging in sexual acts to produce an offspring is stated in the Decision To Abort article. The Decision To Abort article states, “Steve did pursue his interests in sex, companionship, and procreation in morally legitimate ways. In fact, this fetus is the object and result of his pursuit of these interests. Thus, this fetus is a legitimate object of Steve's concern and hence is his and only his. Given this, if Michelle destroys this fetus without his consent, she will cause Steve a wrongful harm. Specifically, she will harm Steve by interfering with his interest in procreation. Moreover, in so far as this fetus is just Steve's, he alone gets to decide on the issue of abortion” (Hanrahan 29). When a man is pursuing his interest in sexual acts to produce a child, the embryo created is his top priority and if the mother destroys his top priority without his consent, it effects the father significantly. Communication plays a huge role in whether or not the men’s input will be accepted by the biological mother in the decision of abortion.

Abortion rights are one of the most heatedly debates in society. There are many arguments for and against abortion. Each woman has the right to an abortion and the right to have a child. Women have the resources, rights, and respect to make reproductive health decisions that are best for themselves. (“Women’s”) We live in a free country and women should continue to have the choice to do whatever with their body, concerning women’s rights, health issues, and religious reasons.
Peru is one of Latin America´s largest nation and contains over 26 million people. In Peru the adolescent fertility rate determines a lot about how the country works and functions on multiple things. When teenage girls are having children it leads to the country having a higher adolescent fertility rate, increasing the population and possibly the poverty rate. Since 2014 there are about 7 million people living in poverty in Peru and then a little more than a million living in extreme poverty. When young girls in poverty drop out of school to help support their families, it leads them to not getting a proper education which results to them having more children.
Lastly, economic disparities are by far a huge contributor for women in Latin America who are seeking an education. Most of these women are barely making ends meet. For those women who get married at a young age, they have the responsibility of taking care of the kids thus it becomes a luxury to seek an
In India, women are being manipulated to stop having children after their second birth. Officials claim that by regulating population and the pregnancies of women after their second child they will be able to empower women by offering them contraceptive choices and child care facilities. In reality, if women do not agree to be sterilized after their second birth they will be
