College seems to be a constant battle for students to do well in classes and remain above water. It is as if students are attempting to figure out what mixture of coffee, sleep, and studying makes for a perfect college student. With so much pressure being put into getting a degree and going into professional schools after college, it would be a helpful tool for students to know what makes an individual more successful academically than the next. O’Neil, Goffin, and Gellatly (2010) have found that when test taking motivation is high students tend to perform better on exams increasing the rate of academic success.

Many people wonder about the factors that play a vital role in the Academic Achievement of a Person, come to think of it there are quite a few factors that are essential for an academically successful life, they can be Parental Influence, Student motivation, Peer Effect, the geographical location or health, all of the above-mentioned factors can be crucial in a student academic life, but we may say that Parental Influence and Student Motivation are the most important ones. Adolescence is the time in which a child is going through the period of growth, this is the time when parental influence is all that matters because whatever the child sees or hears is going to shape his way of thinking, continuous support from parents play a pivotal role in academic achievement.

Success is different from one person to another. Most people earn their success through hard work and dedication in order to achieve success. Before I began to do research on student success my assumptions were that several students only worried about themselves and their education and that other people or schools did not push them to do better in school. Also before I began to do research, another assumption of mine about student success was that education was similar around the whole world. The type of research that was conducted to find ways of education and student success was done by reading several articles and watching a documentary. Anaheim schools can improve student success by having fewer summer vacations and having longer school hours. Another way that Anaheim schools can improve student success is by having a growth mindset so they can know how much effort they put on there work when facing challenges. Finally the last way to improve student success at Anaheim schools is by requiring students to take extracurricular activities after school like joining a sport, dance, any school clubs, band and more. But several students believe that researchers misunderstand other students when it comes to being successful.

He has highlighted the fact that education enriches people's understanding of themselves. He has said that education is an investment in human capital, and it can have a great impact on a nation's growth and development."

Everyone can be successful in life but it requires some responsibilities. Success doesn’t happen right away, so it takes time and patience’s for things to fall into place. To have a successful life you must work hard to get where you want to be, it can’t just be handed to you for free. One thing is to never give up on your goals or dreams you want to achieve. When you accomplish great things in life it feels great. A successful student needs to use self-discipline and making wise decisions.

Our mindset and amount of work provided guarantees our success. Being successful as a student requires determination, preparing for situations you will encounter as a student, and stopping procrastination in its tracks.

When I was a child, I wanted to find my purpose as being an adult. Now that I am older the missing pieces to my puzzle are starting to come together. I once gave up on life.
