Education Reform School has changed tremendously over time. School was a lot different back then than it is today. Going to school wasn’t offered to everyone. It was only offered to the upper-class. Boys and girls were schooled separately, but today our schools are diverse and have many different kinds of races. Technology did not even exist a hundred years ago but today, we use technology everyday for our schoolwork. Through the course of history, education usually matched the needs of society until recently where a gap has occurred between high school and the real world in what skills and content is taught versus what is need. Medical education has changed excessively throughout the years. Physicians in the 18th century had no knowledge of bacteria, viruses, and diseases. Women were responsible of family healthcare.(Brandyway Battlefield Historic Site). Girls were trained by their mothers in raising medical herbs in kitchen gardens and were skilled in performing remedies from available resources. Most Roman children received their education from their parents. Also, boys and girls were schooled separately. Back in Ancient Rome, children did not have the opportunity to go to school everyday, Most of them were educated by their parents. it was usually offered to upper-class children. Also boys were beaten in the slightest offence. In Ancient Rome, they believed that boys would learn correctly and accurately if he were beaten with a cane. According to Spartacus
