Abstract
The role of increased organized physical activity and the impact it has on the academic performance and classroom behavior in primary school students will be explored. This study will include a sample size of 30 students (15 student in the control group and 15 in the treatment group) from a 4th grade class at The Pine School in Hobe Sound, FL. The entire 4th grade class will take part with the only exclusion criteria being students on any type of behavioral medication. The participants will be randomly assigned to the control group and to the treatment group. This is a true field study experiment using the pre-test post-test experimental design. The 30 students, with the only exclusion criteria being students on any behavioral medication, will have been randomly selected to either the control group or the treatment group for this study.
