Since the beginning of the industrial era, humans have contributed to a wide range of negative affects concerning the environment, and the current condition of our environment. Pollution alone contributes to global warming and public health warning; while deforestation affects our climate, ecological system, and water table cycle. Research that will be provided in this essay will reveal how pollution and deforestation have many negative impacts on our environment significantly; by identifying effects on the environment endures.

In the article “Fewer Rain Forests Mean Less Energy for Developing Nations, Study Finds” By, Felicity Barringer she discusses how the loss of tropical rain forest has contributed to worldwide climate change, destroys maintenances of indigenous societies; and could more than likely reduce rainfall which would harm certain countries that rely on water for their power source. “They removed so much forest that it reduced rainfall and reduced the stream flow.”(Barringer) “But you must keep my decrees and my laws. The native-born and the aliens living among you must not do any of these detestable things, for all these things were done by the people who lived in the land before you, and the land became defiled. And if you defile the land, it will vomit you out, as it vomited out the nations that were before you.” (Leviticus 18:26-28) A major product that we burn has become fossil fuel which becomes carbon dioxide that is released into the atmosphere. Such fossil fuels have been linked to Global Warming which refers to an increase in temperature through the atmosphere changing climate patters all over the world. The climate is also affected by ocean circulation, earth’s orbit around the sun, participation, and wind etc… Scientists predict that in the future polar temperatures will rise causing polar ice caps and will rise even higher in others parts of the world.
