“Electronics gadgets and communication systems of present age have tremendously improved the quality of life. With the tempo of events throughout the world, it has become essential to have more efficient communication network with the latest electronic devices and circuits.” The strikingly first sentence i read while going through a brochure after passing out from my secondary education and this curiosity pushed me to explore further with on the internet to obtain an information about the field.
I take this opportunity to describe my educational background and career objectives that motivated me to pursue a master in Mechanical engineering.
The first decade of 21st century will be remembered for the incredible advancement in the electronics. A decade ago there were televisions which occupied a large table whereas the present day flat screen LCD or LED televisions can be hung to a wall. The desktops are replaced by laptops and which in turn are replaced most recently by the tablets. This reduction in the size of electronic gadgets with increase in working efficiency over the years amazed me. Hence naturally, I grew up with a passion towards this field and this passion led me to choose Electronics and Communication Engineering as my undergrad course. The field of electrical & electronics engineering has always fascinated me. I picked up the rudiments of electronics field and electrical engineering. My interest started developing in the early stage of my life, when I studied about the invention of computers, moreover about its large size. The transformation from the large size to small palmtops enticed me to know about the factors that are responsible for making computers, also the electronic gadgets so small. I was taken aback after seeing a small chip for the first time in my school days, furthermore when it came to my knowledge that this single chip contains more than 1000 transistors, it really became impossible for me to believe, “integrated circuits” was the answer I received, but wasn’t able to penetrate the fundamentals of it. From then, everyday I come across with small circuits
Electrical engineering has always fascinated me. I was always keen to sort out the complexities of different system. My decision to choose field of electrical engineering was based on my passion and parent’s will. In early stages of my education, I started working hard to achieve my goal. My vision was to be a successful engineer to serve my community. When I used to study computer science, my interest developed in inventions and transformations. Technological innovations have led enormous changes in world and lifestyles. Recent developments in the world have changed the way of generating and using electrical power. I am satisfied with the current opportunities and with my profession. I am looking forward to work in a
Electronics with its wide gamut of sub-disciplines and extensive scope has enthralled me take up engineering. The theory courses like Microelectronics, VLSI, Biomedical Instrumentation along with practical and seminar sessions during my undergraduate course in Instrumentation Technology at RV College of Engineering, ranked among the Top 20 Engineering Colleges in India, provided a highly stimulating academic environment along with world class faculty and facilities which helped me build a solid foundation in
Technology is changing exponentially as we speak. Each day, engineers and scientists are developing new
Technological advancements have shown a substantial growth concerned with each and every field whether it be the communication systems, astronomy, semiconductor devices, automobiles, electronic devices of daily Society has become more and more usage, bio-electronic devices, building and dependent on technology. So much so that we architectural design techniques or the sometimes lack the willingness to think before computers we act. We become impatient if it takes more
In 1882, the Physics Department of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) offered the first optional course in electrical engineering (Berry, DiPiazza, & Sauer, 2003, p.467). Since that time electrical engineers have led the way in fields ranging from communications to transportation, computing and electricity generation. This means that the devices and systems that people take for granted in their daily lives have come into existence due largely to the efforts of electrical engineers. Televisions, cell phones, stereos, computers, robotics, medical technologies, and the Internet, along with the electrical generation that powers them all, were made possible through the
The majority of society has adapted to the technology-rich world that we live in. After all, an important aspect of a good electronic is its user-friendliness and adaptability. We have taken advantage of all technologies improvements in products and services. However, in the future, technology will provide much more than just products and services. It will provide autonomous transportation and engrossing entertainment. It will also enhance education, ameliorate the healthcare industry, help the environment, grow global economy and much more. Technology will have a vital
The modern day society is highly developed and the sector setting the trend for this development is represented by the technologic industry. Throughout the past recent decades, technology has evolved from an inaccessible dimension into one which impacts all aspects of the modern day life, from the making of breakfast to the means in which the people complete their professional tasks.
Change and development in technology takes place at almost every second. Even the slightest change in the industry can cause a massive outbreak of invention, directly adding to the huge technological developments.
Over the last 50 years there have been a lot of changes due to technology. Several things have been replaced in relation to technology development. In an article by Cynthia Wagner titled “Top 10 disappearing futures” many things are discussed and examples have been given about how technology will soon replace several things that we see daily and that have already been replaced in the past. Although these are only examples of what may come out of the ever-changing technology trends some present a very real feeling and some may even hit close to home.
The opportunities in the electronics field expand rapidly as the world depends on technology more and more daily. From the moment that we wake up till the moment we arrive at school or work, we have used technology multiple times. All industries use technology in one way or another, coming all the way from automotive to landscaping. Every industry runs on electric and would need an electrician to repair the building or to construct a new project. Manufacturers operate on a daily basis, but cannot operate without electricity on the premises, thus creating new jobs for specialists in that field.
Technology today has changed tremendously over the years. From small devices to big devices to large factories that make them. All over the world technology is increasing. It has become so important the human race can’t live without it.
My school principle used to tell us “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams. Otherwise, with a negative mindset, we are heading nowhere”. This line became the director of my life, and framework for my future plan. I always believed to become an efficient engineer in this ever-changing world of science and technology, and obtaining the masters degree will be inevitable for achieving immense knowledge and expertise in anything of this chosen field.
