Arthur Miller’s The Crucible is about the people of 17th century.Salem, Massachusetts situated in a dangerous and dynamic period. Three of these people are John Proctor, Elizabeth Proctor, and Rebecca Nurse. These people would do anything to protect their reputations even if it meant ruining someone else's. In my opinion it is more important to tell the truth than have a good name, but it is also a lot easier to have a good name then a good reputation.
