I’m Hannah Weaver, and I read For Darkness Shows the Stars by Diana Peterfreund. The result of a genetic experiment gone wrong, social status is split up into Luddites and Reduced. The Reduced are born mute and mentally underdeveloped, and it has fallen to the Luddites to take care of them. The Reduction went on for generations before a miracle happened. Some babies from Reduced lineage were developed normally, and Kai was one of them. These Post-Reductionists were still classified as Reduced, though, and still worked on estates. This separation in social status doesn’t permit Elliot and Kai to mix, but they do against all the expectations of society. King states that he will die for what he believes in and he did exactly that. He died for the right of equality for all human beings. The murder of an American patriot, Martin Luther King Jr., caused James Earl Ray to leave a legacy of hatred, which has left disgrace upon his name.
In the book Million Dollar Throw it is certain that the best friend of main character Nate Brodie is Abby McCall. Abby is the best friend because she has many character traits that make her that. For example, she supports Nate in everything. She attends all of Nate’s football games, and is there whenever he needs someone to talk to. On page 53, it says “... more perfect was if his dad had been able to be here. But at least his mom was here and had picked up Abby on the way.” Abby comes to all of his games despite her worsening eyesight and eventual blindness. But she still comes, even though she is risking her own self. As you can see, these traits make Abby his best friend.
In the book seventh most important thing our character Arthur Owens is a sweet kid with an unselfish heart, but one day it all took a turn for the worst. Arthur Owens loves his family he cares for his mom, sister and he's grieving of his dad's death. He's Always thinking about his family like when a cop car showed up to his front door stated in the book "In fact when Arthur looked out the window and saw a cop car pulling into his driveway late on Monday afternoon, his fist panicked thought was something bad had happened to his mom and Barbara". In the novel The Things They Carried Tim O'Brien often brings up Jimmy cross’s love for Martha and how he struggles expressing they way feel feels about her. “Right then he thought he should’ve done something brave”(O’Brian 5) Cross felt much regret because he did not act on his feelings. He did not have the courage to express his love they way he wanted to towards Martha. Jimmy Cross, who had been in love with Martha for quite sometime even though she didn't feel the same way tried to play it off as if he had gotten over her.
What would you do if you were in a family crisis and given a 10,000 for your family member passing away? In the play Walter Younger goes through many different moral problems and has bad ego due to the money that has been given to the family. In this play during the late 1950s, there was a lot of racial problems, black skin color was discriminated and abused. Walter younger shows that he cares more about money rather than caring about his families care and well being. He rather open up a liquor store to get more money and keep his family living in the ran down apartment not thinking about all of the bad stuff that can possibly happen to his kin. Throughout this book making this a great mood changing book to read many sequal of events happen throughout the book.

To Kill a Mockingbird Scout is a main character that is changing her thinking and moving away from her racist town. In Harper Lee’s novel, To Kill a Mockingbird, the most dominant character trait displayed by Scout is Acceptance.

Some readers think Henry is a Coward while other think he is a hero. Henry shows heroic traits when he ends up fighting, grabs the flag, and stays with the army.
"In 1492, Columbus sailed the ocean blue" is a nursery rhyme that can be heard repeated incessantly by elementary school students in America. It is used to help them remember when Christopher Columbus made his journey to the New World. Something that is conveniently left out of this nursery rhyme is how Columbus lead to the genocide of over a million Native Americans. Columbus is a villain that lead to the genocide of so many Native Americans. Howard Zinn and Arthur Schlesinger both evaluate Columbus’s role in the genocide of the Native Americans, however Zinn provides much better evidence, thus making his article the better of the two.
The St Louis Dome, also known as the Dome at America's Center (and formerly as the Edward Jones Dome) is one of, if not the biggest convention centers in the city. There's is just something off about romance movies that includes what they would say is a ‘macho/masculine’ man, that makes you feel as if there's a whole other story that's not being portrayed; the tale of the man is usually portrayed through the woman's perspective. How handsome and strong he is, with his perfectly cut muscles and masculine jaw, and his… oh wait yeah. Everything that society views to be physically masculine leaves the boyfriend who is forced to watch this romantic comedy, confused about his on masculinity.

Imagine losing a job you have had for 20 years all because of a ninth grade student who was creating a disturbance in your class and told a bunch of lies. In the book, Nothing but the Truth, Philip Malloy is a ninth grade student at Harrison High School. During morning announcements the national anthem is played and Philip hummed along with it even though they are supposed to stand in a respectful silence. After he did it the second and third times he was sent to the office by his homeroom teacher, Miss Narwin, and suspended for causing a disturbance. When he told reporters what happened the word got out quickly. In the end miss Narwin got fired in an attempt to save the school budget and Philip moved to a new school. Philip Malloy is to blame
The quote is important because is a way for the reader to understand why Dorian Gray is young and pretty. Reading chapter XVI, we can see that James is full of angry and he wants revenge for his sister's murder although it was long time ago. James want's to find the killer and he found it but Dorian made it out for not to be killed that day thanks to his vanity. With that quote we can confirm that Dorian sold his soul to devil for being pretty and handsome even though the time pass away and that this save his life.
Sometimes developing healthy relationships can cause depression. It’s a struggle for depressed people to maintain emotional contact white others because it is a consequence that comes along with trying it out. A lot of the time there are depressed people who feel dependent on relationships with others. But if the relationship is threatened or loss it can make the depressed person feel helpless and weak. Depression can make people fear abandonment and they struggle to keep close contact with people. This fear of abandonment can be bad for relationships because people might not like to be depended on all the time and that can turn people away from being friends with the depressed person. Then that can be hard for the depressed
