Emma Sparks was born with a disability called arthrogryposis. Arthrogryposis means a child is born with joint contractures. This means some of their joints don't move as much as normal and may even be stuck in one position due to extra tissue may have formed around the joints. Often the muscles around these joints are thin, weak, stiff or missing. Because of this disability Emma does not have proper function of her arms and needs a little extra help around, especially around open bodies of water. Emma’s mother, Chandra, enrolled Emma in private swimming lessons in July in hopes that she might learn the most basic water survival skill: floating. Under supervision of our YMCA swim instructor, Ali, Emma is not only practicing

Sarah Breedlove or as many know her as Madam CJ Walker, was a successful African American business women. AH! Power, we have electrical power, mechanical power, but what about social power? Social power is power over one’s own life and others; isn’t it what people sought after? The book “To Kill a Mockingbird” by Harper Lee has its foundation laid on social power, but in this text, it focuses on how an African-American in the town of Maycomb, Alabama, was wrongly accused of raping a poor, white woman, which is the reason for him losing the case, but did she gain any class and gender power from the case? The text says not, so she won on the basis of race, but in terms of gender and class, she is not so powerful after all.
I was born in 1997 to David Brain Sparks and Heather Jones in Morganton North Carolina. My full name is Garrett Dawson Sparks. For as long as I can remember I have had a fascination with the drums. I used to get yelled at all the time for setting in the kitchen and beating on pots and pans. I don’t think my parents liked my music, but it didn’t make me scale back.
You can never envision the world without Emma Goldman. Emma Goldman passed on May 14, 1940. Emma committed her life to the production of a fundamentally social request. Likewise, she grasped insurgency for its vision; and it offered freedom, concordance, and social equity. Political agitation, in spite of the fact that its foundations are dated considerably before, was conceived only two years after Emma's introduction to the world. Bakunin, a Russia progressive, as Emma was to wind up, split the worldwide socialist development in two, making revolutionaries. She had a profound duty to supreme opportunity and that drove her to embrace a scope of disputable causes. Goldman was a radical scholar. Forty years on she is more than meaningful, she is notorious. The majority of this began with her introduction to the world on June 27, 1869, in Kovno, Lithuania.

Emma Goldman was born into an orthodox jewish family in Kovno, Russia to her parents Taube Bienowitch and Abraham Goldman. She had three brothers named Morris, Louis, and Herman Goldman and two half sisters Helena and Zena Zodikow. At an early age Emma became familiarized with poverty, injustice and women and children abuse. Her hot tempered and impatient father used violence when his children disobeyed him while her mother rarely interfered only to tell Abraham to take his beatings down a notch. Her father whipped Emma the most due to her being the most rebellious child of the bunch and she was an unwelcomed child because of her fathers wanting of a son.

Emma Hart Willard is a historical figure I admire most because she is the first women to open an all-girl seminary school called the Troy Female Seminary. She was a strong willed women who was the sixteenth child out of seventeen. Marrying a rich and successful doctor, John Willard, she had the support she desired. Willard wrote a book called A Plan for Improving Female Education which according to The Emma Willard School was “widely admired and influential purpose intended to win public support for girls’ schools” (Emma Willard School 1). My admire of Willard became strong when I had to do a speech while dressed up as her character. She was so adamant to make sure girls could have a proper education even though she was shut down multiple
Imagine having a park near your house! It is very wonderful to have a park near your house. Emma McCarthy is a park near my house. It is my favorite green place where I just lie down there. It also has peaceful surrounding. Emma McCarthy also has a lot of facilities such as huge grass field, toilets, shelter, and trash can. This park has a lot of benefits for us because it can reduce pollution, can be a place to hold events, and makes us healthier.
The crime I think is the most severe is murder. Taking another's person’s life without their approval is the most horrible thing you can do. So therefor it deserves the most severe punishment. It is here the huge debate about the death penalty comes in. Should it really be allowed to kill murderers? Everybody's opinion is different when it comes to this subject, people agree on some things, but disagree on others. I am deeply conflicted when talking about this but most of the time i think of it as the easy way out. In my eyes dying instead of spending your life in the prison is like taking a shortcut in a marathon. You get to the goal either way but one of the options are cheating. No matter what way the prisoner gets they are still going to
As parents influence their child’s ability to be in music programs at schools, a child is developing experience and new views within the arts program. In research, based in London, Sarazin observes a program based for the purpose to improve the student’s skill sets in certain areas. Although the program did not improve the children’s skill of teamwork and self-discipline it shows educators and parents their child’s view in their eyes. Sarazin interviewed students such as Michael, “So, my opinion is that Claudia should be stricter” (Sarazin, 2017, p. 10). Another student who is not allowed to take his instrument home, “… gets up immediately and starts putting his instrument away” (Sarazin, 2017, p. 7). Then exclaims, “We aren’t trusted, I’d
