The topics of Elizabeth Holmes and success should be front and center in everyone's day to day conversations. These topics matter because Elizabeth Holmes is a female billionaire who made it onto the Forbes List and received a Glamour Award for Entrepreneurs. A prestigious person such as Elizabeth Holmes should also be considered a successful person. In order to be successful one has to be more than stable, achieve their life goals, and have made a difference anywhere or to anyone.

J.K Rowling is an incredibly talented author who has broken barriers for children’s books, and is an inspiration to all authors who come after her. She didn’t learn it on her own though, she has many other literary and cultural influences who helped her story along. We see many literary comparisons to authors like J.R.R Tolkien and C.S Lewis, and then we see the cultural influence such as Arthurian legend. In my research, I have found that a lot of her writing has been influenced by mythology. J.K Rowling herself has a passion for Greek, Roman, and classical mythology, and has been successful in sneaking it into the Harry Potter series through characters, spells, and even her magical creatures.

At age 15, Rowling was confounded when given the news that her mother had become shoddily ill with numerous scleroses, an autoimmune disease. Stressed by her parents to become a secretary, Rowling attended the University of Exeter beginning at age 18 1983 and studied French. She lived in Paris for a year. After she ended college, Rowling stayed in London and worked at a number of jobs. Her mother died on December 30, 1990. Her mother's death was truly hard for her to take in. Throughout the speech, Watson attempted to persuade the audience in joining the HeForShe campaign by providing examples of those who have been subject to the burdens of gender inequality – however, this speech could be considered problematic due to Watson’s lack of credibility and failure to include all types of people in our society.
