Emory University is a private institution that is located in the Druid Hills in the city of Atlanta, Georgia, United States. In 1836, at Oxford Georgia by the Methodist Episcopal Church Emory College was found plus it was named in honor of Methodist bishop John Emory. In 1915, it was relocated to the Druid Hills and was re-named to Emory University. Emory has nine academic divisions: Emory College of Arts and Sciences, Oxford College, Goizueta Business School, Laney Graduate School, School of Law, School of Medicine, Neil Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing, Rollins School of Public Health, and the Candler School of Theology. This information I really need to know because if their teams are good and competitive like me then it’s the best fit for me. Same goes for the location of the college/ university I choose. Clearly, you can tell it can’t be too far from my family or friends I have a part of my life now. Since Emory University is all the way in the city of Atlanta, Georgia, it’s way out of my requirements of the location. The farthest I would leave is probably in the mid-western of the country. Now the athletic teams at Emory University are at NCAA Division III level. Which this means they feature athletes who receive no financial aid related to their athletic skills.
