During this time, the most qualified children are trained to save the human race from the very anticipated third invasion. “The adults are the enemies, not the other armies. They do not tell us the truth." (Card 82) This quote captures the essence of one of the main points in the book Ender’s Game- and yet it, like numerous other parts of the plot, fans found cut from the movie. Differences in plot included character changes, added romance, and differences in setting. In character development, changes comprise of personality changes, less group development time, and less dynamic changes in characters. With use of detail, changes involve age discrepancies, lack of Ender’s genius, and liberties taken with setting appearance.
First of all, the character development of the movie was different and similar to the book. Over the course of the book, Ender finds himself in despair often because of the stress and pressure of Battle School. From the beginning of Ender’s time in Battle School, Colonel Graff isolated Ender in order to teach him that he was not going to have help from friends or teachers when being Commander of the Fleet. Ender also realizes that he has a killer instinct like his brother, Peter, who left him with some terrifying memories from his childhood. He also has a hard time accepting the fact that he has killed the entire Formic species and taken away all the queen’s children. In the movie, the emotions that Ender felt in the book were not all there. The movie focused on Ender’s struggle with finding the right military strategies to use and figuring out the best way to lead his army and fleet. This is obviously because of the audience in a movie theater and time allotted in a movie. Next, the book showcased Ender’s physical and emotional pain that came
In Lyddie by Katherine Paterson and Lyddie the movie, both have similar same plot lines but with slightly different plots. Some People, such as Diana, have different ways to leave the main story; other characters like Triphena are outright gone, and a few characters never fully develop a complete personality.

Undermined by dread of another extra-terrestrial invasion, humanity turns to the youngsters to get ready for the approaching war. Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card is a novel and Ender's Game directed by Gavin Hood is the motion picture based – very loosely - on that novel. So how true to the book were these producers? Translating a 368 page military science fiction novel from 30 years back into a 2 hour film regardless of how well approached will have a few aspects of it hit the fan. With the principle force of the story being fixated on Ender's inward voice and several enormous subplots, a few components are sure to be not true to the book whatsoever.
Pressure, pain, corruption, and insecurity; imagine dealing with this every moment of your life. In The Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card, a young boy genius must take on the weight of the world while dealing with these things. Ender, a nine year old boy, is chosen by the government to go to Battle School, where he must learn to fight and improve his army skills. While he's there, he struggles with his own morality and insecurity, and tries to do what other people want him to do. Even though he is so smart that he beats every single challenge presented to him, he had to learn throughout the course of the novel to be self-reliant and try to figure out the truth about his whole training. Although Ender is a boy

Have you ever thought about what it would be like to prevent an alien invasion and command your own army? Ender got the chance to experience what it is like at the age of 15.
I will make 4 different points to show the differences. The first point is the fight with Stilson. In the book the fight is outside while Ender is walking to the bus and in the movie the fight is initially in science lab. Stilson and his friends pushed Ender in the science lab to fight him. Next, Ender
A huge part of the theme of Ender's Game is saying that life is just a game. This is proved by the concept that Ender has to succeed through different 'levels' of life in order to achieve what the battle school has set out for him-killing the buggers. This is proved by the quote,”-Because most boys in this school think the game is important for itself, but it isn't. Its only important, because it helps them find kids who might grow up to be real commanders.” This is the real point of the book in which Ender fully realizes that The Battle School is really just a game. The symbols of this main idea is the armies, friends, enemies, and leaders that Ender comes in contact with in the Battle School. All of the friends, enemies, armies, and leaders that Ender meet are all part of Ender
A fight can change a life. Ender Wiggin (the main character) faces many challenges that make him grow up in a short period of time. Ender starts out as a shy, lonely 6 year old. He turns into a mature 12 year old adult. Ender goes through this mature stage with a little help of his sibling, Peter and Valentine plus many others. His maturity level shoots very fast at such a young age. Most people thought he was sent to school early, but later to find out it was too late.
In the beginning of the book Ender gets his monitor removed and gets into a fight. The way he handled the fight is what caused colonel Graff to offer Ender to join battle school. In the start of battle school, Ender got picked on a lot, until he killed Bonzo, he was promoted to commander, commanding his own army, he defeated a lot of other armies in the school. In the commanding part of the book, he was getting stressed and losing sleep, he went back to Earth because he didn’t want to be in battle school anymore, then his sister convinced him to go to Eros to train for the bugger war, when he was playing simulations of a bugger invasion, he finally defeated the buggers and Graff told him that the games were actually real, not simulators. After he beat the buggers, another war started on Earth, his sister met with him where he was and told him that he should be governor at another planet and went around to find a new planet for a new era for the buggers.
