CHAPTER 1
The Problem: Rationale and Background
Introduction Nowadays the number of school population is usually rising because of the rapid increase of students in our country. The Philippines is one of the countries with a huge population of students. Even the number of foreign students who have chosen to study here is extremely increasing, which leads to the need of computerization processes in schools, primarily

Significance of the study with regard of the following users:
Administrator – will help ease in giving exams to students
School – will improve the examination system of the schools which are still using the manual examination method during entrance exams.
Students – this study will help the students to have easier and uncomplicated process of entrance examination.
Significance of the study for the future researchers
This will be a useful guide for the future researcher to enhance or produce a better system that will be useful. It will also help the future researchers how to make a system step by step.
Hypothesis
Ho The system cannot be user friendly The system cannot provide grades to the students
The system doesn’t have a security measures to protect the system The system cannot help the school in improving the examination system
H1 The system is user friendly where in they can view the exams
The system can provide grades and print out grades.
The system have a security measurements to protect the system The system can help the school to improve their examinations by the use of automated examination system
Definition of terms Administrator - is the one who manipulate and maintain the system.
Computerized - To enter, process, or store (information) in a computer or system of computers. Confidential - Restrictions on the accessibility and dissemination of information or data.
Database -
This study also provides information for the teachers to ensure the students assessment and aptitude examination are fit to their ability and skills.
Computer- A computer the process-recieves in, thinks about, changes, stores, sends out, displays, and prints data in the form of bits.
Through studies conducted by the Society of Higher Education, it has been documented that a teacher can teach up to sixty students successfully. Teachers only need fifteen minutes of quality time to teach a new lesson, the rest of the fifty minutes will be used for calming down the students and answering questions. With this programs, the students will require at least an hour per class for homework outside of school to learn the material dictated in those fifteen minutes of teaching. To help teachers keep better track of their students, a micro chip will be place in the flesh of the back of their neck. This will illuminate the need to take roll, for as the student enters the class their number will be recorded in a new main stream computer system costing a hundred thousand dollars per computer with a total of ten computers. This list will then record the
The research reports that over half of the examinees were not comfortable since from the beginning of the test they were stressed out, the students who tortured with anxiety. The SAT is one example of a standardized test. In the 21st century, the number of standardized tests been given in schools has greatly increased and the frequency with which exam are given faster compared to the 1990s. No doubt standardized tests are an effective tool for instructors to be able track their students work but it can be too much pressure for students. However, standardized tests is based on class material and other courses content have been delivered in a rigid, circumscribed way. The more standardized tests are given, the more they sap the energy of educators and draining the life from students’ learning. The standardized test can have negative impacts on the students and educators and also on the education system, and lead to problems such as lower graduation
With the advancement of the technology, it immerses more and more in our everyday life. It surrounds us, helps us to overcome the problems that arise and assists in our everyday life. At the same time, it also surrounds our children who have to learn how to deal with the emerging technological environment. The ever growing importance of the computer technologies has also evolved to be used in the classroom for educating children. It is no doubt that such inclusion is necessary, considering the developments of our society.
Any exploration on individuals must be approved by the IRB regardless of what stage the examination study is in as indicated by the Department of Health and Human Services Code of Federal Regulations with respect to the Protection of Human Subjects which defines various conditions. Moreover, in real practice IRB's audit the protocol, the documentation of informed consent, and supporting data. Likewise, in specific cases, IRB's additionally survey any revisions and proceeding with continuing protocol audit reports. Since an IRB must survey all human examination conventions inside of the IRB's foundation, it is critical to quickly audit the regions of responsibility for protocol audit. Human subjects participating in huge example sets, commonly
An observation of an exit exam for high school seniors will reveal if students are proficient at basic skills prior to graduating. The researcher will investigate different point of views as well as come to a conclusion and present an opinion. Furthermore, the basic skills test will help show which schools are meeting the knowledge requirements for students. If students cannot pass a basic test perhaps a diploma should not be given. Many senior students feel obligated to have a relaxed schedule with a scarce amount of core classes, this may cause seniors to put three years of education to the side and become more attracted to courses for entertainment..
An administrator is the leader of an entire school and responsible for supervising all students and teachers. This supervision includes not only the safety of all who enter the facilities, but, equally important, the teaching and learning as well. Principals wear many different hats during the school day; the most effective school principals are not only managers and disciplinarians, but also instructional leaders. In this role, administrators shape the environment in which teachers and students succeed or fail.
The purpose of this proposal on substituting standardized tests with end of year subject tests is to attract readers that changing assessments in the education will improve the education. The problem ad their outcomes as well as the solution are the consequence of thorough research on these tests. Everyone is affected by the power of our educational system, form the students and their capability to flourish in college and in the workplace.
According to Kaplan & Saccuzzo (2013) the growth of administering test through computers is rising. There are many benefits to testing on computers. For example, the amount it takes for the tester to complete the assessment is shorter than it would be on paper and pencil. The results of the test is automatically given once the test is completed, compare to paper and pencil, the administrator needs time to read each question and compare the answers to the
Although the standardized test has a negative impact on our performance, it also has some positive impact. One of the main purposes of testing is to set a standard: a performance baseline of progress for all parties involved in the educational process—students, teachers, and school districts, and to hold them accountable for achieving it. The idea is to detect areas where students usually fail, or fall behind and promote improvement, not punish them. Besides, tests help remove bias some teachers may exhibit towards students and make the evaluation process more objective. This is usually achieved by using special automatic machines that score exams. Also, due to the usage of these methods, the potential of human error is decreased or even
Testing has felt tremendous influence from the emphasis on efficiency. University examinations have moved from individual testing by professors to nowadays where most exams are machine graded, text-book given multiple choice tests. Thus, with the infiltration of McDonaldization into the educational system, test taking has become extremely efficient for the professor.
Based on this fact we had planned to work with computers and develope an education system which may reach the children of the 21st century and offer them a playful education with lots of fun, and activities, what the nowadays-children appriciate.
In addition, there is a problem because the current situation in colleges and universities are having issues and multiple problems concerning the involvement of technology in class and at home. Surely the use of computers are now direly needed to discuss and deliberate on the several subjects taught in high school and colleges. To the contrary, children and young adults have been found failing in class by reason of
Education is one of the most important professions in the working world. Technology has done many things for us in today’s society especially for education and schools. Technology in the school system has impacted the students and teachers in many positive ways, including virtual field trips, testing tips, teacher resources, class web sites, and lesson plans. With computer use in our schools, we have access to many different sources and various types of learning.
