In 2002 only way one would know about Five Guys is if he/she lived in either Maryland or Virginia, or if they were visiting of course. Yet, to date, Five Guys just expanded its burger industry to the United Kingdom. In efforts to stay afloat during the current recession, Five Guys opened its business to franchising – resulting in Five Guys taking the burger fast food chain by storm. This statement exemplifies Five Guy’s ethical and social practice. In ensuring it lives up to its standard of producing a quality burger, Five Guys uses nothing but the best ingredients. They spend time ensuring their burger is right, their fries are right and even their buns are right. Five guys invest time and effort into giving burger lovers what they want – a good burger accompanied with some good fries. Socially Five Guys brings major contribution to the to the overall economy and employment opportunities. It is guaranteed that Five Guys workers will make above minimum wage, its establishment is clean and inviting to customers, and the services will cater to the customer. Five Guys constructed its business to be like family, for it is a family-owned operation. Five guys innovatively too the fast food burger business by storm. It sought out to produce quality burgers that worked for them. As a business outlook, Five Guys saw customers as their daily advertisement, while using advertisement funds to offer bonuses to its workers.
