“ENTREPRENEURS ARE BORN, NOT MADE”
What do you think?
When we talk or debate about if the entrepreneurs are born or made, we need to think about what makes an entrepreneur, what are his objectives as an owner of a business, what should be his main skills and what kind of challenges and tasks he needs to face when running out a company. The word entrepreneur, originally from the French verb “entreprend”, means “to undertake”. An entrepreneur is the person who undertakes a business. These kinds of skills are essential for running a business, they come with us and we develop them in our growth process. Not just in business, but in all the other fields we need these skills to go on, and life experience may help us to build up them but there should be something inside ourselves to start building and developing them.
A survey by the Northeastern University’s School of Technological Entrepreneurship shows that two-thirds of the U.S entrepreneurs “claim they were inspired to start their own business by their innate desire and determination, rather than by their education or work experience”. The other one-third cited that they were motivated by higher education, work experience and success of entrepreneurial peers within their industry. So this survey shows us that the desire to be an entrepreneur is not made but born inside of the person and cannot be thought. This desire is discovered and not developed with the learning process, as many famous entrepreneurs launched their first business at the childhood, like Cameron Johnson. He started his business when he was nine years old. At the age of 12, he had made $50,000 selling his sister Beanie Babies over the Internet. At that age did he have any entrepreneurship skills? No, but he had the willingness to prove himself and to do something different!
But on the other hand, the world got so many famous entrepreneurs whose success is
Entrepreneurship is a term that has reentered the public vernacular over the last few years, many times in reference to what is wrong with America but what it means is rarely defined. Furthermore, it is generally agreed that more Entrepreneurship is a desirable trait but how to go about encouraging it is again a point of contention. This paper will address a specific facet of entrepreneurship and attempt to discover what are the key drivers to foster an entrepreneurial spirit from childhood.

I am always on the hunt for the next big thing. As I was growing up, I was exploring different possible ways to make money. I was driven to buy toys and sell them for a slight profit. These characteristics as a kid helped me develop into an intelligent person. I have more experience with selling products and more confidence to confront strangers than an average teenager. In my Entrepreneurship class, I am learning to build up a small business and market my business products. I have teamed up with classmates to take on the task of investing our money in our business. In this class, I have learned to collaborate with peers to get the most return from our
The common professional skills necessary to succeed in the business world include speaking skill, writing skill, and problem solving skills. Speaking skills are important because they are necessary to convey your thoughts and can even be used to persuade other such as managers and other coworkers. Well to me it depends on the mind-set of an individual, his/her innate abilities and capabilities. I myself broadly classify entrepreneurs into two types, The Inventors (those who with their discrete and genius intellect pioneer goods and services that never existed) and the Innovators (take existing idea and innovate it with their brilliance). It is the category that defines the set of skills, traits and characteristics suited to that entrepreneur. For example the first type of entrepreneurs i.e. Inventors are revolutionary blended with growth orientation. They want to revolutionize the market or industry and grow at some rate so that their product becomes a necessity e.g. Thomas Edison, While on the other hand

From my upbringings inside my parents’ takeout restaurant to starting my own business, entrepreneurship was destined to not only be a scholastic interest but also my personal passion and life-long devotion. As I grew up watching my illiterate parents move to the United States and build their own small business, I learned the importance and value of engaged entrepreneurship. In high school, I began applying that knowledge in my own venture: an export company specializing in consumer discretionary. The experience fueled my love for entrepreneurship because it taught me how essential it is

With starting at a young age in selling earthworms and now becoming successful CEO of Zappos is a great success story still in the making. When watching a YouTube video on how the atmosphere of Zappos keeps its employees motivated to keep working diligently. The Zappos family is always having parades, contests, themed events, ice cream, live animals, etc.; the list goes
Entrepreneurship is not an inborn skill; it is a product of environment. It involves a complex of economic and social behavior. To be successful, an entrepreneur has to remain dynamic and responsible to the whole environment. Entrepreneurship can hardly survive under any given circumstances. It can flourish only under right environment. It is a part of total system. The social values, culture, government policies, political system, technology, economic conditions, laws, etc influence the growth of entrepreneurship.
Entrepreneurship can have multiple meanings. Business daily consider it to be a business ventures that shares a commitment to turning an idea into a profitable business (Fernandes, 2016). Bruce Bachenheimer, a clinical professor of management and executive director at Pace university also mentioned "At its core, it is a mind-set, a way of thinking and acting. It is about imagining new ways to solve problems and create value." (Fernandes, 2016). I couldn’t have agreed any more as anyone can come up with an idea but implementing it to produce change in the world is where the real work starts.
Entrepreneurship education has been lauded as being able to create and increase awareness as well as promote self-employment as a career choice among young people (Clayton 1989; Fleming 1996). The objectives of entrepreneurship education are aimed in changing student’s state of behaviours and even intention that makes them to understand entrepreneurship, to become entrepreneurial and to become an entrepreneur that finally resulted in the formation of new businesses as well as new job opportunities (Fayolle and Gailly 2005; Hannon 2005; Venkatachalam and Waqif 2005). These day, many graduates are unable to get a job upon graduation. Students are now apparently searching for a business education that can help them with the necessary entrepreneurial

Entrepreneurship refers to the act of investing in productive capital and assuming risk for productive ventures. An entrepreneur is an individual who purchases factors of production and combines them to produce consumable output. Entrepreneurs are distinguished from capitalists- who rent out capital to entrepreneurs- and workers, who sell their labor to entrepreneurs.
