Entryway Prayers
"Mom it was those prayers in the entryway that carried me."
My adult daughter described the difficulties of returning to the homeland for her Junior year of High school when she shared the significance of a small daily routine in our home. Prayers, Entryway prayers.
It was a morning routine before the kids headed out the door for school, the four of us stopped in the entryway of our home. Dropping the backpacks, we grasped hands and prayed together as a family. Jon had made it a habit of asking the kids if they had anything specific to pray about. The goal was to pray for the child's needs, the things that they worried about, whether the request was big or small it received our attention in the Entryway.
I learned early
“We don’t let animals suffer, so why humans?”(Stephen Hawking) Not only is assisted suicide not legal in most states, but people are judged for taking that option. So basically, they should just live in pain because you’re uncomfortable…? How is ending your dog's life because he’s in unbearable pain any different from helping a person end their pain?
James Eagan Holmes entered a movie theatre in Aurora, Colorado carrying an AR-15, Remington 870 shotgun, and a Glock 40. Caliber handgun, with over 200 rounds of ammunition. At a midnight opening of the movie batman, he opened fire killing 12 people and wounding over 70. These were the same drugs prescribed to Eric Harris of the Columbine Massacre. (James Holmes Biography) 40 percent of American homes have guns in them. 57 percent of Americans have said that there should be more restrictions on guns, or that they should even be banned. (Background on Gun Control) There should be a restriction on firearm

Working at the Elmcrest Children’s Center this semester has opened my eyes to so many different issues that children face in our own community. The children that are sent to Elmcrest go through psycho-social evaluations before they are fully admitted to see exactly how the child reacts to certain situations and stimuli. During my time at Elmcrest, there have been kids that have been discharged to other programs due to the fact that they had dealt with suicidal thoughts and needed more intensive care than Elmcrest was able to provide. When I saw the article, “Physical and Psycho-Social Predictors of Adolescents’ Suicide Behavior” I knew that it would be extremely beneficial for me to learn more about what triggers these behaviors and how they
Researchers conduct hypotheses that suicide could be contagious. Researchers had a total of 22,064 individuals ages 12 to 17. When conducting the study they met on cycles to monitor the exposure to suicide. All groups which were separated into age had an outcome of 95% of exposure to suicide. Researchers also questioned how often certain groups were or had feelings of depression or suicidal thoughts from stressful events during the cycles. In further research, 24.1% from the ages 16 and 17 responded that someone from school has committed suicide and which 20.1%
Over the days Komaeda spent bedridden and recovering from this Hinata found himself more and more at Komaeda's bedside. What had started as a series of strictly professional check-ups had evolved into a personal, close relationship. Despite Komaeda’s belief that Hinata had much more important manners to take of, but Hinata’s persistence presence couldn't be shaken by all the incomplete reports in the world.
My ancestral background belief is focused on spirituality and prayers hence, this lecture was a reinforcement towards my daily practice of prayers in my life.
According to the American Psychological Association, and based on the national suicide rates in 2007, suicide was the 8th leading cause of death for Asian-Americans, and the 11th leading cause of death for all racial and ethnic groups combined. The second leading cause of death for Asian-Americans between the ages 15-34 was suicide. Among all Asian-Americans, 20-24 year olds had the highest suicide rates of all (Heron, M. 2011). Above all, Asian women have a higher suicide rate than males (Xu, J.2010). A significant amount of research and many studies of suicide among Asian Americans reveal many factors that play a role in these high numbers.
The nature of this research topic focuses on the association between gun control laws of the states and their rate of youth gun suicide, therefore, the most appropriate data collection method would be analyzing secondary data. In terms of the units of analysis for this research, it will be states because the design of this research compares the level of gun control laws and its connection to youth gun suicide will be made therefore examinations should be made between the states. However, in order to analyze the association between the independent and dependent variables, it would be crucial to first examine the level of gun control laws of each state; this data will be collected from past researches conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. Meanwhile, the rate of youth gun suicide can be collected from the law enforcement agency of the states.
Chemical suicide is a growing problem all around the world. This form of suicide was created in Japan, but now it is growing rapidly across the United States in recent years. People committing this type of suicide are looking to kill themselves, and also may want to harm or kill first responders in the process as well. This puts a large amount of people in danger in the immediate area where the chemicals are located. These situations might not be clear to first responders upon arrival and could cause injury or death if they are not wearing proper personal protective equipment.
Canada's grief stricken Pimicikamak Cree Nation has declared a state of emergency: six suicides in two months, 140 suicide attempts in two weeks, 6,000 attempts in three months and 150 students (of 1,200) on a suicide-watch list. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/national/a-community-seeks-answers-as-youth-suicides-soar/article29199297
As you can see in the pictures above I checked to make sure that if the part was placed on the trim die properly and if it wasn’t the limit switch would kicked out and stop the machine. I have also done some APQP as for one of the tooling engineers. My most resent job was to help with a sample of one of our new dies. I would document all the changes we made to the die. I also took notes on all the issues we had with the die so we could understand if we had a lot of similar issues and what issues we need to work while the die was set or after we pulled the die. I also followed some of the parts to make sure that after we processed the parts they were good parts. That is some of the work I have done so far at my co-op. That is also more information

Suicide has become very common throughout the years. People of all ages commit it, and so forth to relieve themselves from their problems. Their mindset can sometimes be unclear, but it’s incredibly mournful to think taking your own life is the only way out to feel alleviation. Suicide is a plan someone can’t be necessarily pressured to do. They accomplish it on their own; for their reasons. Of course, everyone knows the causes that could drive people to such a terrible decision; such as bullying or having financial issues. Countless people don’t know the terrifying effects that are dealt with after the incident. A variety of the outcomes are mortifying and very hard to tolerate. Suicide has severe negative consequences, and it leaves traumatizing concerns within the community that could take time and emotional help to resolve.
Over 38,000 people in the United States die by suicide every year. Suicide is the tenth leading cause of death in the United States. It is said that every 14 minutes, another person has taken their life. In this generation, for teenagers, suicide is looked at as a joke until it happens to someone dearly close to them. In that case, it affects them more than actually publicized. Depression is a major risk factor for suicide. Deep thoughts of regret and hopelessness caused from depression may make a person think that suicide is their only way out.
