Rudy hated to go home with his left ear bleeding and his right eye almost closed. Rudy was was almost home and he still didn’t know how he will explain his black eye and bloody ear to his mother. Rudy still remembers vividly what happened and how much pain he was in. Rudy was walking up his driveway when he heard “Rudy! What in the world happened to your face?” yelled Rudy’s mom. Rudy started to worry as he was not at all prepared to explain what had really happened. “My precious baby, what happened?” Rudy’s mom questioned. Rudy couldn’t hide anymore so he had to spit it out.
“I fell mother, that’s all.” Rudy lied.
“Is that all that happened?” Rudy’s mom questioned.
“Well, I kinda got hit with a baseball in gym and then fell.”

Rudy’s mom has always been overprotective of him. Once when he was in first grade he tripped on a jump rope and he got a bruise on his knee, well his mom took him into the ER after she found out that he fell. The one thing he did like about his mom is that she always took him out to eat icecream if he ever had a bad day or got somewhat hurt. Like a puppy waiting for a treat, Rudy was waiting patiently for his mom to ask him if he wanted some ice cream. Coincidently five seconds later Rudy’s mom mentioned “You seem very sad, do you want to go gobble up some ice cream?”
“I mean I guess I’ll take some,” Rudy answered with a smirk. Rudy’s favorite ice cream was called yellow daffodil. It was a mix of chocolate, caramel swirl, butter pecan, a little banana and topped with peanut butter m&ms. Rudy could eat this ice cream for breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day for the rest of his life. He felt like he was in heaven every time he ate this ice cream. When Rudy’s mom and Rudy got to the ice cream shop he could barely hide his excitement.
“What kind would you like darling?” chirped Rudy’s
How does each of the following religions reflect the importance of revelation: Judaism, Christianity, Islam? What do these faiths have in common? What are their main differences?
This chapter starts one night when the village is asleep. At this point in time, Jesse Owens is famous around the world...except in Germany. Rudy is young and doesn't know much about what it means to be anything other than German in Germany. Rudy is a HUGE fan of Jesse Owens, so he takes a few pieces of charcoal and colors himself. He goes out to Hubert Oval and sprints across the track, but at the end, someone is waiting for him. His father. Rudy gets a lecture about how he is safe the way he is - blonde hair, blue eyes - and that he should value that because of how quickly Germany is changing. Overall, I think Rudy's father's reaction was great because he didn't blow up or yell, he was kind, and now Rudy knows a lesson he must never forget

It was 4:30 p.m. at the carnival. My little brother Rudy went on this ride called space Shot. Where this ride goes up strolling and goes down fast, like a meteorite falling from the sky. Rudy begged me to come to the space shot ride, but I didn't want to, because I'm scared of heights. I tried to keep him away from the ride.
It was a cold winter day with papery white snow all around me. I felt relieved because I wear white so I can blend in with the snow. Maybe no one can notice me if I crouch. I am met with a tall white building like the snow. I walked door after door of the blank hallways of limestone heights, it was an eight story building located at the outskirts of Queens. Rudolf Black lived in apartment number 809 in Limestone heights on Union street. It was noon so I didn’t see many people but I noticed there are much more asians and hispanic people than usual. Not that I’m racist or anything but it feels very unnatural, like everything is wrong, kinda like a parallel universe. After several minutes I see a door, it is dark gray gun metal like all the other
ripped out of its cuticle were minor concerns she reminded herself to block out the distraction of pain in what she knew to be the battle for her soul she already felt she was losing.
My dog, Rudy, has always been with me up until not very long ago. And I had to be part of a really hard decision for him. This decision may compromise everything I ever wanted for us together.
She looked up at the crowd, her people, her family, and she was home. Looking over at Rudy, “It’s the Rudy.” She
The theme of the story is to appreciate what you have in life. Rudy and Rosa are two of the many killed in the bombings at the end of the story and Liesel has several regrets. She regrets never expressing to Rudy that she loved him and also regrets never appreciating Rosa for all the work she did to support her and her family.
He opened it and crushed it against his own forehead. ‘There,’ he croaked, red dripping down his face like blood. ‘Are u satisfied? Do you feel better?’ He turned around and started down the hill.”
After rum raisin, cherries jubilee was his favorite flavor but now it left a bitter taste in his mouth. He couldn’t stop thinking of what Alma said. Glancing over at Rachel, he saw that she was struggling. Pink ice cream seeped from the corner of her mouth, down to her chin, and threatened to dribble down onto her black leotard.
My mom rushed towards me while Veronica phoned 911. About after 15 minutes of waiting, my mom grabbed me and set me down in the backseat of the car. She and Veronica quickly jumped in the car and began to drive to the hospital. Mom was driving while Veronica was ripping up her shirt and covering up my wound. When we finally reached the hospital, my mom and Veronica carried me through the doors and got me to a nurse named Mrs. Zowcowitz.`` I need help, it’s my son, he’s been shot.’’ My mom said panicking.`` I’ll go get help.’’ Nurse Zowcowitz said running through the hall. ``Doctor! Doctor! There’s a boy he’s been shot! He’s losing a lot of blood.’’ She said flailing her arms.`` I’m going right now.’’ Dr. Wade said running towards me. ``Oh there is a lot of blood, quick, we have to get him upstairs.’’ Dr. Wade said calm and collective like. I was then put on a stretcher and was rushed into an elevator. I can remember looking up at my mother with tears in my eyes. I was going to die, I knew it. When they finally got me to a room, I was laid on a bed on was being hooked up with an I.V. ``Everything is gonna be ok.’’ Mom said. Even though the doctors tried their best to save me, I closed my eyes and died shortly
Is it possible to understand the nature of globalisation? This is a question that has led to fervent debates, and has confounded sociologists in their pursuit to explain the mechanics of globalisation (Machida 2012). Globalisation is the most dominant social phenomenon that has shaped social interactions around the world in the modern age (Ritzer & Ryan 2002). In an age where people socialise beyond their immediate communities, where a Japanese person can purchase an American product that’s made in China, and where government policies in Africa can be written by people in the Netherlands, it is impossible to ignore the current, globalised state of the world. Globalisation has led to the blurring of national boundaries, which allows nations
