Anthony Rabon is an amputee from Aynor, SC. He is a firm believer in faith and says everything happens for a reason. He lost his left leg during a four wheeler accident. It was 2:30am about 50-100 including two of his cousins. Out in the field in Aynor and they all were riding around until it was time to go home. Anthony had three separate ways to go home but he chose his way and it ended with him being hit by a drunk driver who also had drug in his system coming around a curve. The driver got thrown out of his truck resulting in him dying but Anthony lost a lot of blood and had to get eleven pint of blood in him they could not save his leg it had to get cut off.

In Finland, Pekka-Eric Auvin killed seven students, the school principal, and himself with a handgun at Jokela High School. Classmates and teachers noticed Auvin had become radical in the months prior to the incident, such as drawing violent pictures and developing an interest in Stalin and Nazi ideologies. Auvin also posted videos online, in which he made a tribute to the Columbine High School shooters, murderer Jeffrey Daumer, and videos showing off his firearm and target practice. In addition, the shooter posted a video that shows him posing with a gun and pictures Jokela High School.

John Smelcer is an author of native life who is faking his identity. There is a controversy about John Smelcer, whether he is native or not. John Smelcer is trying to prove that he is native, but many people are saying the opposite. John Smelcer is a liar, and there are reasons that show that he is not native, and he wants to fake his identity for professional gain. It’s important to me to find out John’s real identity, because he's a good writer, and I liked his book The Great Death. I want to know if he is lying, because it’s bad to read books for an author who faked his identity.

Today when Americans go to work, they have many protections, so that they are safe, not overworked, and paid justly. However, around the turn of the century the same could not be said. Lincoln Steffens saw the corruption and inhumane working conditions in the workplace, and in government and decided to use his platform to expose this and make positive change occur. Lincoln hailed from a wealthy family and became immersed in radical politics. He attended the university of California and then went to study with “ Wilhelm Wundt in Leipzig and with Jean-Martin Charcot in Paris” () This is where he developed his love for radical politics and exposing the truth about corruption.

Junior Guard Jonathan Norfleet has taken the basketball scene by storm this past season. Maybe he was being taken for granted before but after this season everyone should know his name. Norfleet led Salem all the way to the semifinals in this year’s playoffs. Norfleet has put everyone on notice after he stepped up in many big games this season. Most notable battles were against conference foes in Green Run and Maury where we saw Norfleet is capable of playing with the best talent around. Norfleet has received most of his recognition from the AAU side.

Rod Serling faced many problems from advertisers and censors because of racial real world events at the time. Serling put real world situations and twisted them into his science fiction books and TV shows. In paragraph 2 part 3, it states,” Serling continued to write, interweaving social messages into his stories.” Also in part 2 paragraph 4, it says Serling created moral and cautionary tales in half hour installments, confronting Cold War paranoia, racism, and the horrors of war. During my lifetime I encountered many amazing people. One man who I admire most is my friend, Billy Selingo. Billy is twenty-seven years old and currently attending Manhattanville College to receive his master’s degree. Billy always been a very talented hockey player, as a freshman he began at the Holderness School then attended a post grad year at the Selects Academy at South Kent, which totals five years at the competitive prep school level. Next up for him was a scholarship to continue his hockey career at Manhattanville College, where the team competed at the division three hockey level. Billy had more skill than most of the team, he thought by playing at the division three level he would receive more playing time than he was actually getting. I would tell someone who has never met Sandy Sewell that her witty personality and exuberance for life, as she tells her life story, is what defines her as an individual and not her physical disabilities. At first glance you will notice that she is quadriplegic and confined to a wheelchair but I would assure the person that her appearance is deceiving because she is truly an inspirational person. For instance, you might initially be surprised by her gregarious charm and enthusiasm for life as a disabled woman.
