My worst birthday was this year. I went to a Twins game with my dad, stepmom, and sisters, Olivia (who is 15) and Natalie (who is 6.) The game wasn’t the bad part, I actually had a lot of fun. Well… that’s after this happened.

It is April 4th. It is my 21 birthday.21 years ago I was born and got named Thea. My mom Emily, dad James, sister Maddison, and brother Liam are coming over to celebrate my birthday. There are a few things I must do before they come.

It was a beautiful sunny Saturday morning when I woke up on March 24, 2012, and most importantly it was my tenth birthday! One normal day it was June 20, and for some reason I forgot that it was my birthday tomorrow. When I realized I actually wasn't all that excited because I had soccer tryouts on my birthday. I slowly open my eyes. The first thing I see when I open my eyes is darkness. The first thing I hear is silence. Where the heck am I? I look down and I see rusty cold chains are keeping me locked and there is a large gash on my right leg, with blood stains on my jeans. I have no idea where I am, why I’m locked up, and my leg is torn up. I look around the dark room trying to find any bit of light. I see the tiniest window in the corner of the room. I look closely at the window to try to figure out where I am. Than I hear a single voice, one that sends chills all across my body.
