There is a multitude of responsibilities that claim much of my time during the day. Teaching is a small fraction of what I do as an instructor. The majority of my time is spent interacting with students in some capacity. This includes: advising students and ensuring students take the appropriate courses so they graduate on time. Maintain attendance records on all students, whether on-line or in-class. Maintain a current syllabus for each course, so the participants can see what the objectives of the course. Ensure submitted assignments are graded within a reasonable amount of time with appropriate feedback. Emailing students and sending Starfish notices to those students who are not performing satisfactorily within the class. Additionally, send positive affirmations to students who are excelling, in an attempt to encourage them to complete the coursework Coordinate and oversee many of the community service projects. Traveled to Granville County four times in an attempt to promote the Criminal Justice Program to potential high school students.

Furthermore, if a decision is needed immediately, I try to make decisions that are rationally based and not knee jerked driven. I arrive early at work and make myself available to the students who need to reach me as they may work at night, and early in the mornings are the only times they can reach me. Also, getting to work early allows me time to prepare and set up crime scenes without little interruptions. If there are meetings or other duties that require my attention. I am not one who shy away from responsibilities and does the minimum of what is expected of me. I work well with all and try to keep a harmonious relationship with those within the Criminal justice curriculum and other departments within the
As a Naval Officer I had the opportunity to experience both leadership and management. Today's Navy operates with fewer people and resources than before. Therefore, leadership and management are more important than ever. Very early in my career I was taught leadership and as I advanced through the ranks I experienced management.
One of my most cherished thoughts is that all goals are in grasp if you can work hard enought and long enought you can achieve them. I also believe with dedication any person can reach what they dreamed about.
What's mine is yours. Having lived a year in a student hostel I understood this phrase was the best to describe my first year student life. We shared everything: all of bright spots, all of difficult moments, all of the books and all of the cakes. My roommates are my best friends now and I trust them as I would myself. I believe amazing adventures and close friendship are waiting for us too! Also I believe, my dear roommate, you’ll get at least one new hobby living with me. I promise I’ll share to you with my frenzy for mountains. Oh, that’s really amazing! I’m a participant of the university tourist all around team(sports tourism university team member) and every weekend we get to go to incredibly picturesque places of Zailiyskiy Alatau.
I am currently teaching 7th grade Literature, Language Arts, Social Studies and a few Extended Learning time activities such as CSI and World Cultures. My responsibilities include these classes and more. Our grade levels each have a day of the week that we will supervise the hallways, we also have a week every few months that we will supervise outside to make sure our students are getting on their buses and staying out of trouble.
One of my most profound characteristics is, I am a trustworthy person. Currently, I am majoring in criminology and this gives me the advantage of knowing many rules and protocols to adhere to. Not only that, but because I have background knowledge in criminal justice I am at a higher standard to follow all the legal protocols of being a RA such as fire safety and reporting incidents to the CCSU police station. For the reason that, the outcomes of me following rules and protocol ethically, efficiently, effectively will determine the future of my career after CCSU. As a RA I am fully committed to provide the safety and wellness of my resident at CCSU not only as a student with a future in law enforcement, but as a person who cares for the protection of others. In addition, I possess a positive and encouraging personality. When I am a RA one of my priorities is to make all my resident feel as welcome as possible in

Arriving on time and consistently completing work assignments on time creates a great insight to one’s values. Demonstrating positive interpersonal skills such as cooperation, flexibility, and empathy are very important throughout the profession. While establishing
[ I promote a positive, low-risk and emotionally and physically safe environment in many ways. The students know the classroom daily expectations, the school 's rules, and my personal rules that I have added since teaching their class, which in some ways differ from my cooperating teacher 's rules. I do not allow students to chew gum during class and the students are not to climb the bleachers to get equipment that has been thrown up there unless they ask me first. I expect students to use appropriate language and treat others how they would like to be treated. When a student feels he or she is or was being emotionally or physically hurt, they come and report it to me. I then will talk to the student(s) who are invoiced and help them sort it out. During the soccer lessons, in my expiation of the stations as well as on some of my station cue cards there are warnings about the potential dangerous situation that may occur, such as flaying soccer balls, trip over cones, crashing into someone who is running written on the cards. I found with these warning verbally
Dealing with a criminal population every day can expose you to more situations that will test your sense of right and wrong. Your actions will come under a lot of scrutinies, so it's essential that you always do the right thing. In addition, your own criminal background should be relatively clear, demonstrating that you have respect for the law. As a criminal justice worker, you will be a role model for recovering offenders. In addition to having excellent personal character, it's also important that you have the kind of leadership skills that will make people want to follow you.
During this time I helped to manage behavior and facilitate conversations with the students. Some of the students were hesitant to talk at first, but as I worked more with them, they asked if I could sit with them. After snack, the students moved to their classrooms for homework time. I alternated working in both classrooms, kindergarten through second and third through fifth. Homework time was challenging, because in addition to tutoring, I had to help monitor the students behavior. The students knew that the same rules from school did not get enforced at Chapel, so they tried to see how much they could push the rules. After the students finished their homework, they had free time in the classroom; there were a few games for them to play as well as crayons and markers if they wanted to color. When homework time ended, the students had a bathroom break then returned to the cafeteria for dinner. Like at snack time, volunteers sat with the students and monitored behavior and facilitated conversations with the students. After dinner, the students went home. Occasionally, the kindergarten through second grade students would have field trips to the library during tutoring time. I was able to go
Whenever a teacher needs help, I am ready to help whenever they need it. I enjoy community service and I am volunteering to help at the Cuyahoga Heights Corn Roast. I have assisted leaders at my church. I am also planning on volunteering for sound technology at the church I attend.
Sometimes I would also help the teacher grade, tutor the students, or set up the classroom. My involvement within this program shows a lot about my character. It shows that I work well with others as I have a great sense of communication with both adults and children. It also demonstrates my capabilities to
At Southwest High School, our CT has a permanent volunteer for 6th and 7th hour classes Monday-Wednesday. His name is Peter. I asked him on the first day we were there why he was volunteering. He stated that he was there because Mr. West has said he needed help. I didn’t think much about it when he said it. But after I observed this volunteer and got to know him, I realized he was there to back up Mr. West in helping students stay engaged at school. Not just in the class. One student, didn’t want to do an assignment because no one ever wanted to be his partner. Peter filled the roll for this student. This student could have gone the entire semester without doing one project because he needed a person to care about him. This is what the articles speak to me about this week. As a teacher how can we make time for EVERY student? I think of Pete Mesick again at Blaine High school, with 40 kids in his class, he manages to
