Age of Responsibility Essay The idea of responsibility differs within the mind of each individual. The age of responsibility has changed over time but relies heavily on laws, culture, and location. The age of maturity that we follow is not reliable. People are not mature enough to be considered an adult until the age of 25. The stage of adulthood we live by is outdated and unjustified by science. The age of responsibility and maturity is based on an outdated system referring back to the middle ages.
