The United States of America, is a nation that people have risked everything to somehow be a part of. The rights and freedoms that are we given here are often taken advantage of, because we don’t know how blessed we truly are. This nation was founded on the idea of freedom, that we as people, are given natural rights that from birth and by God we have. If I was to define what America means to me I would say perseverance, success, equality, and freedom. All of those adjectives might just seem that they are nothing except for words, but they mean something much more.

What is America’s gift to our generation? If you ask anyone in America this question, they must ponder about for a long time. Why? Because this question has a different meaning to each one of us. America’s gift may be freedom, or it may mean safety. Although, each of us may have a different answer to this question, we all owe our thanks to the same people and place: America and its veterans. Without our veterans, we would never have such as great place to live and survive in. Without America, we wouldn’t have the freedom, opportunity, and safety that we take for granted. America’s Gift to my generation, when I think of that statement I think about how grateful I am to live in this amazing country. This country has so many images red, white and blue. From the skyline of New York City to the hills of tennessee the traditions in Chicago. The pride in Los Angeles. Cross Country to Washington D.C to the National Archives building. The building of tradition, pride, joy and most of all freedom. America’s Gift to my generation we take for granted all the opportunities we have.

America’s gift to my generation is not just a physical gift, but a mental gift. The physical gift is the safer place to live and grow. This mental gift that America gave to my generation is a deep feeling that you can go around and be who you are, dress in what you want, say what you want, and basically do what you want without being restricted to doing one thing each and every day. America’s gift to my generation is the ability to grow, learn, and live life the way you want to without a limit. If you look at America compared to other countries it’s like a whole family, and America is the one that all the other siblings go to for help or a safe place. America might not always be safe but we can always count on all our amazing, brave souls

America's gift to my generation is many freedoms and rights. Here are some examples; freedom of speech, innocent until proven guilty, freedom of owning private land, freedom of religion, the equality of race and gender.America’s gift to my generation is the right of education.

America has dealt with many things that shaped our history including major wars, fighting for freedoms of all people, and terrorist attacks, but they all give us a reason to continue strengthening our country. The events that we have encountered shaped our history today. In many ways, America has changed greatly for the best interest of the people.

America’s gift to my generation, what are the first things that come to mind, freedom? Ronald Regan once said,” We are forever indebted to those who have given their lives that we might be free.” We celebrate Veteran’s Day to celebrate those who made the biggest sacrifice for our freedom, America’s Gift, but freedom is not the only thing. America’s greatest Gifts to me are my freedom in general, freedom of Religion, and high advances in technology.

America has given us a gift beyond words, the gift to pursue our happiness. We have everything we could ever need, and even more. We have the liberty to be ourselves, to do what we want with our lives, and if that isn't enough then I don't know what

John Quincy Adams once said, “You will never know how much it has cost my generation to persevered our freedom.” America has given us many gifts throughout the years. One of the greatest gifts to me is freedom, freedom to say whatever we want. Also, we know that we will be safe no matter what we do because our veterans are standing up for us.

In this essay I will tell you what America’s gift to my generation. I will be writing about the different electronics, games, rights, veterans, and solar power. The most important thing that was given to my generation was my teacher Mrs. Evjen or Jody Evjen.

America’s gift to my generation is freedom to all, a good education for all, and hope. Hope is that thing that never leaves. Hope is that thing that is able to push you out of bed in the morning. All the kids that have no families and live on the street, they have hope to keep them going. Hope that they are blessed with spectacular education, a good meal to eat everyday, and a loving heart warming family. That’s what America can provide. The gift is not being like some other countries where you are having to be trained and enrolled into the military while you’re still little kids. In some other countries, you don’t even get to have the job you want, you are assigned a job that is chosen for you by the government. Not having to be like those

America has given all of us many gifts and freedom is one of them. Without the gift that America has given us we would not be able to practice our own religions, live our daily lives, love and marry the people we want, use our rights to speak as we please (with some exceptions of course), and bearing arms. People often take these freedoms for granted. For generations, my family has devoted their lives to helping us maintain this freedom. Without the relentless support of our troops, we wouldn’t be where we are today.

I am proud to live in America because I can live my life the way I want. I can be who I want without anyone else telling me I cant. Just because of my race and gender, I don’t have to do this or do that just because that’s what I am supposed to.

America today is no longer a place in which we embrace the uniqueness of every individual, instead, today’s society heavily influences its citizens through the thoughts of other people, media, and by instilling fear of being different; they do so by giving the people the ability to “choose” who they want to be, in other words false choice. Throughout history there have been times in which all individuals in a certain area such as America, have made a drastic change to the way that they live in; the first one being The Great Awakening, followed by the Red Scare, which later is proceeded by World War 2(WW2). With the ability to spread one’s ideas to a large crowd over papers, online, and radio made it easier for their beliefs to spread and influence them. The only thing that prevents us from sticking to our beliefs, from what we desire to do, is the fear to be different.

What does the military do for or nation. The military does a whole lot for our country so we can be safe. They do things like fighting in a war or helping clean up during natural disasters. The military does those things to make sure we are safe and happy.
