Sandwiched between the two pieces of lands, Central America is a region made up of attractive coral beaches, rocky elevated mountains, and interesting green rainforests. Its partner, the Caribbean, lies on the region’s eastern side and comprises of similar features. Overall, these unique characteristics has made the region suitable for growing variety types of agriculture. These landscapes has also shaped the climate and seasons. What’s more, these beautiful geographical features created rich culture and unforgettable history in the area.

These hundreds of islands, which make up the archipelago similar to the Indonesia’s, divide the Caribbean Sea from Atlantic Ocean. They can also be classified into 3 island groups; the Greater Antilles which makes up from Cuba, Jamaica, Hispaniola and Puerto Rico, and the Lesser Antilles which makes up the chain of islands from virgin island to Trinidad and Tobago are the two out of the three total. This is because the location of the region (the explorers who traveled from Europe towards the west landed on the Caribbean) and the geographic images has successfully attracted many people seeking to find a place to live in. The Maya built large cities with pyramids and temples between AD 250 and 900, which leaves to the present day with the abandoned ancient cities. When the explorers from Europe arrived to this part of the world, they just would not leave; they were too engrossed to settle in this pleasant region. The attractions by the physical features had contributed further to establish a society in this area as the people decided to live there will shape the history and culture
