Happy Holidays Folks! It’s a magical time of the year. Have fun as you shop, enjoy special holiday events, and spend time with your family.
Many of you will be displaying Christmas lights and yard decorations.
Here are some tips:
.Weatherproofing chord connections
• Your source of power should come from a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) outlet. This device will shut the circuit down if there is an overloaded current.
• Use a waterproof extension cord cover. A waterproof extension cord cover unique protects extension and a power cord from accidental unplugs and outdoor weather.
• When you connect extension cords, snap this device around the connection to seal it tight. Simply plug cords together, set adjustable cord connector,

For a 20-amp circuit, the load limit is 2,400 watts. On a multiple-outlet circuit, you find any appliance or equipment rated at more than half the circuit rating, 900 watts for a 15-amp circuit
• When using extension cords, make sure they are rated for outdoor use, and keep the connections above ground, snow and water.
• Plug all the lights in to make sure all bulbs are working.
• Tape cords across walkways, and use the correct length needed to travel to your lights. You don't want your cords to be too long so they pile up and create walking hazards.
• A circuit is overloaded if the total load exceeds 1,800 watts for a 15-amp circuit. (120 volts x 15 amps = 1,800 watts.)
• Make sure to turn your lights off when you leave or go to bed at night.
• Use a good ladder when installing your lights. Secure them with insulated holders (never use tacks or nails). .
Things to Remember
• Never use indoor Christmas lights outdoors.
• Don't place lights on trees that touch power lines.
• Too many things plugged into a circuit can cause an overload
• Look for the amp rating of the circuit in tiny numbers on the circuit breaker switch or fuse. For a 20-amp circuit, the load limit is 2,400 watts. On a multiple-outlet circuit, you find any appliance or equipment rated at more than half the circuit rating, 900 watts for a 15-amp circuit
• When using extension cords, make sure they are rated for outdoor use, and keep the
This is a very important hazard everywhere and if there are loose wires hanging carelessly around at a nursery it is more likely that one half of the children in a class would trip over it and get badly injured so if possible keep the wires out of reach .
Other possible hazards are doors and exit points. Doors should have a spring device to close on themselves once they’re open to minimise anyone leaving without being notices, secure stair-gates should be fitted at both ends to minimise falls, and the main entrance should have a secure lock/ buzzer system to minimise unlawful entry or exit.
Our outdoor area is checked for safety and cleared of rubbish before it is used.
The sun can damage your extensions in a variety of different ways. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can loosen the material that keeps your extensions bonded to your head. Try to stay in the shade as much as possible when you are outside. If you cannot avoid the direct sunlight, just purchase a few fun summer hats that go with your wardrobe. This will help keep your bonds that hold your extensions in place cool.
In this essay, I will describe how PVC cabling would be inadequate for the task at hand. Standard PVC costs less, but it would be a safety hazard in the event of a fire. There are better rated cabling options that would be beneficial in this scenario. In fact, some city codes mandate this as a requirement in certain buildings. Therefore, I will explain a better option to consider than standard PVC cabling.
Remove and store indoors things that can fly such as: swings and tarps from swing sets, patio furniture, grills, trash cans, potted plants. If you do any last-minute

*Wear sturdy shoes, long pants and long sleeved shirts when surveying the area for damage.
Avoid getting extensions wet for at least 12 hours to allow glue or bonding solution to dry. Do not use any heat treatments for 48 hours. Do not perm, tint or curl the lash extensions as it will ruin them and avoid picking or removing the extensions yourself as it will affect the natural lashes. Avoid wearing eye make-up for 24 hours and avoid using make-up remover that contains oil based products.
