The definition of freedom “is the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint”. Additionally, it can be defines as “the absence of subjugation in domination or despotic governments” or “not being imprisoned or enslaved”. Freedom is a big part of all citizens of the United States, as it is a core concept to our national identity. That being said, there are many ways that it relates to the average life of the American. The following is how freedom relates to my individual way of life.
Freedom provides the ability to pursue dreams and goals. Freedom is the idea that I’m able to accomplish whatever I set my mind to because I work hard to do such a thing. Freedom is the idea that I’m able to pursue these goals without a fear of being isolated based off of my gender or my race. Freedom relates to my way of life because it dictates what I accomplish as well as how I feel about my professional and personal life. I know that freedom is a way of life for most Americans as it is part of our national culture. This being said, I would like to emphasize that freedom is a huge part of my way of life because I see freedom as the ability to increase my abilities and better my circumstances. I

The reason I’m bringing this up is because females on a grand scale; recently received the ability to vote, recently received the ability to work, and recently received the ability to reproduce at our own pace. Without gender stigmas, we have been able to branch out into management and we are still moving towards being completely free sexually. Freedom of being able to become our own person without having to rely on having a “great husband”, and pursue our own achievements is noteworthy. Should I have been born 100 years ago, that freedom would not have been possible. I would not be able to make a name for myself. I would be reliant on the name of my husband,
Freedom lets us walk wherever we want. Freedom lets us wear whatever we want. Freedom lets us sleep peacefully. Freedom lets us eat any food not one certain food. Freedom gives us the power to speak out our thoughts out loud.
Having freedom means having the ability to express yourself, pursue your dreams, and have equal opportunities. It's about being able to speak your mind, follow your passions, and be treated with fairness and respect. Basically, it's about being in control of your own destiny and living a life that feels true to who you are. Freedom is a fundamental right that allows individuals to make
Freedom is a word we all know; we all hear it ring in our ears, but what is freedom really? The dictionary definition is “the condition of being free of restraints”. We are all fettered by something whether it is a cell phone or bigger like an addiction; we all have something that makes us feel a little restrained at times. Other times however we get so caught up in wanting to do whatever we want that we don’t see that is not really freedom. Another definition of freedom from the dictionary is that it is “a right or the power to engage in certain actions without control or interference”.
Freedom to me is being able to learn from your mistakes. If I did not have freedom, I would have to do what the top officials tell me I have to do. They would tell me what books to read, what religion to study, and even what food to eat. I wouldn’t
I know for some people freedom means the world to them, and that’s nice and all and it should mean something to them. But i’m not them, and it doesn’t mean the world to me. Sometimes i ask myself…. what does freedom mean to me? Well, some answers vary such as the freedom to… walk, speak, to go onto military bases and to hold an id card, and another one is to wake in the mornings knowing that you don not have to be scared of anyone or anything. Or at least it should be that way.
Freedom is how we are living, it’s how we stand, and it’s how we are free to speak out. In my opinion freedom means the power to act, speak, live, and think as we want without any harm or limit from somebody. Everyday citizens are working and doing hard labor to try and keep America civilized. I highly respect people who work and make an effort to maintain our life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness. America is Where everybody wants to go and is why people leave their hometown because of freedom. America is supposedly the land of the free. I feel though as if our nation is falling apart. As stated by John F. Kennedy, “America is filled with both crisis and opportunity.” This meaning you can make your “life experience” in America good or bad but there’s always hope. America can fall apart with terrorist attacks or events like 9/11 but these events is how we make allies and how the citizens of America work together as a team no matter your race, gender, experience, or status there is a job to be completed and that is the main reason how America gets stronger.
Freedom, is one of the greatest things on Earth yet only a few people experience it. Webster’s Dictionary defines freedom as: “the absence of necessity, coercion, or constraint in choice or action.” Around the world, people will live their whole lives without being completely free. I am fortunate enough to live in a country that is free. I am very thankful that I live in America, because having freedom is what makes this country great.
All around the world people talk about freedom; America has more freedom than Russia, twenty-one years old as more freedom than a fifteen year old. What does “freedom” mean? Many have different definitions of “freedom”. For some it could be the freedom to speak and act as you want and others it could be to go where ever you want.
Freedom is a huge role in American life. We use our freedom in everyday life, such as
Freedom is the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without resistance. Freedom is important because we have the opportunity to pursue happiness. Freedom leads to creativity and your own thoughts. People who live in freedom often take it for granted. Imagine if we didn’t have freedom.
Freedom to me means that i can got to school each day to get a good education which is a good thing because i can oneday use my education to get a successful career so i can support myself when that time comes for me the only way that we get good education like this is because some veterans sacrificed themselves for the greater good of our country and that made it so we all can live how we want.
First, what is freedom? It's an ambiguous term that can hold many different meanings to different people. Where a person comes from, their socio-economic status, their race, age, gender and other factors play a role in defining what freedom is. It's used in many different senses, for example: is freedom being able to do as you like
Freedom has a large range of meaning. The encyclopedia Britannica defines freedom as “the quality or state of being free, and the absence of necessity, coercion, or constraint in choice or action” (Britannica). In the American society there is a lot of emphasis on freedom, and the right to be free, but one must question to what extent we are truly “free”.
Freedom means living life as one wants, everything else is a form of slavery. If a person is not allowed to make his or hers decisions, if he or she is not free to live life as he/she wants than he/she doesn’t have power over his or her existence. If freedom was not essential for every human being than no one would have found so fiercely for it. If it was not important than today we would not be still fighting to keep and extend our freedom.
The constitution of the United States of America gives me the right to freedom because I am a United States citizen. I consider "freedom" to be my right to express myself in any way I choose. Freedom is defined as "having liberty of action or thought, independent". "Self-governed or not controlled by an outside party" is another definition of freedom. Freedom has a different meaning to each individual thus making it hard to find a clear concise definition.
