Romeo and Juliet is a love story that factored around three key elements of the play that led to
the tragic death of two star crossed lovers, in my opinion their families played a major part in
their untimely death. Although Romeo and Juliet came from families that didn’t get along,
Romeo loved Juliet more than he loved his family much less himself. He was willing to give up
everything just to be with Juliet.
Not knowing that Romeo is watching her, Juliet calls out for Romeo on her balcony:
Juliet: O Romeo, Romeo! wherefore art thou Romeo?
Deny thy father and refuse thy name; or, if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love,
And I’ll no longer be a Capulet.
Juliet believes that their love goes beyond their family names, and truly wishes that their families

In William Shakespeare’s tragedy, Romeo and Juliet, two start crossed lovers take their lives when they Cannot be together. Friar Lawrence helps the couple become married and hopes this will end their parents feud. Friar Lawrence was the creator of the plan for Juliet to avoid her arranged marriage with Paris. He is unable to stick to the plan because he could not provide Romeo with a letter containing the plans.
One of William Shakespeare’s most renown plays, set in Verona where two young star-crossed lovers; Romeo and Juliet met in tragedy as their family feud bound their love within solemn hatred. The Montagues and the Capulets are two families of equal powers who’s prolonged bitter quarrel leads to the tragic death of these two lovers, and by their love reconciled the family’s hatred. Love is a predominant theme within this novel portrayed through the eyes of Romeo and Juliet, however, the maternal endearment between Juliet and her nurse can not be denied.
Her mother has always been distant from her life, so Juliet can not rely on her for help. The Nurse is always involved in Juliet’s life, however she is incompetent in this situation. Therefore, the only man still around that Juliet can trust is Friar Lawrence. In the end, he fails to bring Juliet the happiness she is searching for, which leads to the suicide actions of not only her but her young
When Capulet, Juliet's father, orders her to marry Count Paris within the week, she cannot bare the thought of it and needs to find a way to be with Romeo once more. And so seeks help from Friar Laurence, which is when he comes up with this genius yet lethal plan.
After the conference with Friar Laurence, Juliet returned home and convinced her father that she is willing to marry Paris when she had no intention of doing so. While speaking with her father, she said she repent disobeying him, and that she “met the youthful lord at Laurence’ cell/ And gave him what becomed love I might”(Juliet, IV, ii, 27-28), calming the rage and disappointment that Lord Capulet felt. Juliet manage to appease to her father, causing him to become ecstatic and pushing the marriage soon, inturn ruining the plan of Friar Laurence and caused Juliet to drink the potion on day earlier than intended. When she hear about the wedding was held on Wednesday, she became desperate and drank the potion from Friar Laurence, a potion that is suppose to put her into a death-like coma. After drinking the vial from Friar Laurence, Juliet’s nurse found her and bellowed out that “Alas, alas! Help,
"Romeo and Juliet". The play is not a simple love story; it is as much
In one respect I thy assistant be. For this alliance may so happy prove to turn your households' rancor to pure love” (Shakespeare II.iii.89-93). Another prime example of an occasion where Friar could have intervened in a different approach was when Juliet had went to Friar Laurence about her parents arranging a marriage between herself and Paris. She was in a desperate and vulnerable state, since her father would disown her if she did not agree to the marriage and was
to be married to the wealthy count Paris ,a man who is more than twice her age and who Juliet
Juliet takes the potion so after the two days Romeo could come get her. Romeo never receives the Friar's letter that she isn’t dead. Once the two have died their parents feud is ended and they build statues of their children. Capulet, Juliet’s father agrees to make a gold Romeo statue to go by Juliet’s. He says “As rich shall Romeo’s by his lady’s life, Poor sacrifices of our enmity!”
Romeo and Juliet one the most famous stories about love by William Shakespeare. Romeo and juliet were a pair of star crossed lovers who were destined to take their lives, for the sake that it will end a feud between their two families. Romeo’s family were the montagues and Juliet’s family were the capulets. If Romeo and juliet wouldn’t of killed themselves for the feud, they wouldn’t of been of happy together. Romeo was so quick to act in every situation, so he couldn’t really control his emotions. Both of them barely knew each other , and they only knew each other for four days and only loved each other for beauty. I don’t even think Romeo and Juliet truly even loved each other.
There is also a parental love for Juliet when lord Capulet is talking to Paris as he is very overprotective and wants to make sure that his daughter only gets the best. He is also trying to delay the marriage by saying it is better to wait a while.
<br>This shows how Juliet has passion and faith in her relationship with Romeo, while her parents are old-fashioned; her father arranges a marriage for her, and her mother takes the side of her husband, rather than that of her daughter. This scene also shows how Juliet has changed and has gained the courage to speak against authority.
Friar Laurance marries Romeo and Juliet even though he believes that the marriage will end up in tragedy.
