The paper discusses how I view myself fitting in different Institute of Medicine (IOM) Future of Nursing recommendations. For example, this includes how to improve the section of medical students with a baccalaureate education up to 80% and double those with a higher degree by 2020. It analyzes how nurses engage the lifelong learning process, the impacts of increasing level of education in the current job market and how increasing the level of education influences my role in the future of nursing. Quality patient services require a well-educated nursing team because of the changing health problems in the society.

It would help them to acquire enough knowledge necessary when offering health care services to different people in the society (Grossman, & Valiga, 2012). It is important for the nursing faculties to join other health care sectors in creating a curriculum that enables the graduates to proceed with their learning system. I would participate in developing a culture that supports the lifelong learning system and educates the people about its benefits in all medical schools (Grossman, & Valiga, 2012). Mostly, I would assist other organizations to update their plans to accommodate the permanent education system.
Increasing the level of teaching will add more value and competitive advantage in the current job market. Another thing is that this increased level of education will help me to become more competent and acquire enough knowledge for serving in nursing sectors (Grossman, & Valiga, 2012).
In conclusion, acquiring more knowledge will allow me to apply different methods and technologies in health care services (Cronenwett, at al. 2011).
