Vacation is something many people love and look forward to. The ability to put our daily tasks on hold for a short amount of time in order to clear our minds and reinvigorate ourselves is something that all people need from time to time. In fact, we all seem to have those times in our life were we get a week or two off to have the time of our lives. One particular experience that I had impacted me in two primary ways. This experience was when I took a Royal Caribbean Cruise in the Gulf of Mexico. Strangely enough, this experience impacted me in two completely opposite, and nearly paradoxical, ways. Truthfully, what I took away from my Royal Caribbean Cruise would be considered by many to be the opposite of what they would expect.

I was sitting on a hot steamy white sand beach where the ocean was washing into the shore. Cinque Terre was a nice vacation spot to chill, relax, and go for a swim. Ninety-Five degree weather all day long, everyday. My family and I were staying in a small, no air-conditioning house with only 3 bedrooms. During our sleep, we forget to close the windows so little lizards come into our house and crawl up our walls. Cinque Terre is a great vacation spot for many family activities!

Unfortunately I see this conversation ending with Celeste and Jim both very upset and no solutions to the conflict being discussed. It seems that at the end of this scenario the conflict was beginning to spiral out of control, and communication was shutting down. It will end with Celeste and Jim blowing up at each other and not being willing to understand the others perspective about the situation. They will not talk for a while after this happens and Jim will hire Nikki as he intended to from the beginning. As a negative end to this conflict I see Jim and Celeste looking back over the conflict still trying to defend their position (retrospective goals).

Have you ever been on a vacation? To me a vacation is a time to be with friends or family. When I think of vacations, I think of packing, the flight or drive, and relaxation. Not only is it very exciting to go on a vacation, but you get closer to the people that go with you.

When the word “vacation” is mentioned, everyone instantly thinks of a great time. There are no classes, no work, no chores, and most importantly, no worries. However, this isn’t always the case, especially with my family. We decided to set out on an adventure to Virginia Beach this past April. The events that took place were benign but, the trip itself was a little bit of a struggle due to the chain of unpredictable events.

The final step would be: save, save save! Saving money is essential to any vacation. Research how much the main attractions would be and estimate how much you would spend on attractions, food, and transportation. Buying your airplane ticket and reserving your hotel early enough, will allow you to save more money so that you can spend more. Try not to eat out as much, pack your own lunch. If possible, put off small one or two hour trips until your vacation. The less you spend, the more you can save.

While vacation may seem like a week away from home, traveling has so many positive aspects. Whether one travels for a few days, or for a year, it can open the eyes of many people and change their views. While on the road, people often discover who they really are and create relationships with people they will never forget. During this adventure, people learn new languages, and connect with the world in a new way. Traveling is beneficial to both a persons mental and physical health; it makes the mind more creative, and it's a great way to exercise .

Spending quality time with family is one of my favorite childhood memories, whether it was spending time outdoors, playing ping pong, or watching a movie.
