“It’s official,” the king declared to the entire kingdom, “the wedding of Princess Bubblegum and Jack has now passed and the couple is happily married!”
At least that’s what the king thought, Jack and Princess Bubblegum were miserable. Neither of them were happy.
“Why did you accept a marriage proposal from my father if you don’t love me,” Princess Bubblegum asked.
Jack replied, “Because it was the chance to marry a princess who wouldn’t want to marry you.”
“Jack I actually found someone I love so we need to get a divorce, please,” Princess Bubblegum pleaded.
“No! I don’t want to be the one who broke up with you because your father will kick me and my mother out of the kingdom,” Jack responded.
Princess Bubblegum replied with in an angry tone, “Fine, i’ll get the divorce and i’ll make sure that i’ll never see you again!” After the argument Princess Bubblegum marched down to her father’s office and demanded that Jack and her get a divorce and Jack should not be seen in the kingdom ever again. As little girls, women may imagine themselves as the princesses that they hear and see in movies and books. These princess often defeat the villain, meet the love of their life, the prince, and live “happily ever after”. Sadly, life is far from the things we see in these movies and books. The Princess bride, by William Goldman is a fantasy novel about a beauiful girl, named Buttercup, who is forced to marry the Prince Humperdinck after the love of her life, Westley dies. She is later kidnapped by three men, and two of those men, named Inigo and Fezzik, come together with the undead Westley to avenge an important death
Once upon a time in a land far away, a young girl named Cinderella lived with her Stepmother and two stepsisters. Although they were exceedingly cruel, Cinderella continued to be as benevolent as a human could be. One night Cinderella had come across a ball that her mother had forbidden her to attend. Her stepsisters tore and ripped her dress that she had made herself, so Cinderella couldn’t attend the ball. After Cinderella’s stepmother and sisters went off to the ball, a fairy godmother had appeared to grant Cinderella’s dreams to attend the ball. There she met a young fellow whom she danced with all night. Little had she known he was the prince who was throwing the ball. At the beginning of the night the fairy godmother had told

In Peggy Orenstein’s article, “What's wrong with Cinderella?” she discusses the problems with princesses. The first problem being that princess merchandise is everywhere. Orenstein writes about when she took her daughter to the dentist and once the check-up was over, her daughter got a princess sticker. Princesses are embedded into a child’s everyday life, making a “princess” more of a way of living than a fantasy. To further this point, Orenstein mentions how even now, in a show that is supposed to be about teaching other languages, Dora the Explorer, has turned into Dora finding a fairy tale land where she becomes a princess at the end of her two part movie. This is only the beginning of the issues that are brought to attention in this article.
“I know what will make you feel better. Let’s play the happy game,” called the sound of Freddy’s voice.
In the past, there have been countless princess movies or so-called “Cinderella” films. However, the general message that each one of these movies have given has changed as time has progressed. With this change, expectations placed on the princesses have been modified as well. This change in expectations has been thoroughly discussed by two authors, James Poniewozik and Peggy Orenstein. Poniewozik, a media and television critic for Time magazine, wrote an article entitled “The Princess Paradox” where he discusses this evolution of expectations. As well as him, Orenstein, a contributing writer for the New York Times Magazine, wrote an article with the title of “Cinderella and Princess Culture” where she also discusses the development of the expectations on girls. Even though Poniewozik and Orenstein discuss the evolution of expectations portrayed on girls, Orenstein is able to illuminate the more complex ideas that Poniewozik is attempting to express based on the expectations of girls.
“Well I’m going to see Prince tomorrow when I go to pick up the kids. Maybe I will have a talk with him then, but for now let’s just enjoy the rest of our night and our time together.” Cinderella said this as she
“I don’t think I am a real life princess I am just a girl who likes to look good and be always dressed nice, because when I look good I am on a good mood and it puts smile on my face. A lot of people told me that when they see me they start smiling it makes me happy to see that I bring positive to other people
“Oops, sorry. I didn’t see you there,” stammered d0pe, who was just noticing how beautiful the princess was, “You’re really beautiful.”
Marceline notes that “We haven’t been down here in hundreds of years” (both Marceline and Princess Bubblegum are several centuries old, even though they are young in appearance) and “Remember when I’d get you out of those stinky cheese kingdom trade meetings and we’d sneak down here and spray-paint the walls?”. Marceline also says “I got you to tag something, didn’t I? I bet I could find it” and “We used to follow the mine car rails, cracking jokes, telling stories”. They begin reminiscing further and Princess Bubblegum explains how things used to be easier when she did not have so much responsibility as a leader of a kingdom. Marceline asks if that’s why they stopped hanging out.

From the cheesy catch phrases to the characters ridiculous names The Princess Bride does not take itself too seriously and a lot fun (Michelle, 2017). In the film, the actor said “I'm not trying to make this a downer, understand. I mean, I really do think that love is the best thing in the world, except for cough drops. But I also have to say, for the umpty-umpth time, that life isn't fair.
All of the Disney Princesses had times when they thought they would not get their happily ever after, but it was there friends that reminded them that there was light at the end of the tunnel.
Jack maybe choose to leave these two women. The reason of leaving his wife is that he was mad about the trifle thing. For
