Everybody gets on and uses snapchat because it straight to the point because it’s a video or just saying what you want people to know. I think snapchat is so popular because a lot of people wants to be seen by people all the time. There are some people who loves snapchat so much and literally records everything that they see or happen to do. I love snapchat and I am with snapchat all the way. To be able to use snapchat you have to have a mobile device. For snapchat to be fun you have to follow different people so you can look at their stories and if the person decides to …show more content…

The first reason I believe I should get Snapchat is I can only talk to my friends. This shows that I should get Snapchat because I can only communicate with my friends that I know. According to Cornell Research it states,” Essentially, users “friend” each other through the application and are then able to send each other either picture or text-based messages known as “snaps.” This proves I should get Snapchat because I can only communicate with people I know and I can only approve them like Instagram. For this reason I believe I should get Snapchat.
First it was just photos, then screenshots, then face recognition came, and now most recently something called “snapchat maps. The amount of content and personal details Snapchat has collected of our lives is astounding; however, everyone looks past it. Snapchatting is a different a fun way to communicate, which is why it is so popular and what encourages people to look past all that we give them. Snapchat currently has 173 million users, which just shows how much access to people everywhere around the world. It knows our name, location, birthday, email, phone number, and even more than we can imagine. Until doing this project I was one of these people, blinded by how much I was truly giving away about myself, but now after looking through their Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, I truly have learnt a great deal.
This semester I was a lot more involved than the previous semester. After settling down and getting used to the college atmosphere. I found that there was a lot more to do and get involved with than I previously thought. Some of things things I got involved with range from sporting events, class snapchat, major spotlight, career service (job shadows), dome concerts, union trivia, art exhibition, and UNI research studies. While participating in these activities I gained friends, experience, and memorizes. These activities made freshman year fly by and also gave me a feeling of what it is like to be a Panther. Also just experience a few things that UNI has to offer.
As a Snapchat beta tester for a few years, I’d like to present a few ideas as a user that would improve the user experience. As my friends list continues to grow I find it has become more difficult to send direct snaps quickly to all my friends without posting on My Story. I’d like to see Snapchat implement a friends group feature that would allow users to send snaps directly to contacts in user generated groups. This feature would allow users to send snaps to a group of friends efficiently. I believe users should not be charged to use exclusive filters and lenses, instead we should look at increasing the engagement of Snapchat by having exclusive filters and lenses unlocked after completing certain challenges. We should look at how to increase
It sounded like Elizabeth is on social media sites all the time. If customers have questions, Elizabeth needs to always be ready to answer. An advantage to using social media so frequently is that it helps keep her in the loop on social media and the next big thing. Snapchat is not typically used by businesses but Elizabeth was instrumental in getting the Nebraska Humane Society on Snapchat. Elizabeth says that they have had a surprising amount of success on Snapchat and it has become one of their favorite forms of social media.
What is Snapchat? Snapchat lets you easily talk with friends through photos and videos, view Live Stories from around the world, and explore news in Discover. Life's more fun when you live in the moment!
In a world where everyone is connected sharing information is constant and expanding, who is really happy? With constant feeds from different social media platforms displaying parties, concerts and youthfulness; it continues to illustrates the happiness moments in life. Snapchat has become an application to display small aspects of life but I find no one really displays their disapproval of life or downfalls. Eyes are constantly watching every interaction we display with a click of finger. This generation is used to the constant connection in everyday life. This happiness is not legitimate; it is mostly a facade to makes their “followers” envious of their life and materials. Just check
“When i first heard about Snapjag, i thought it was dumb, but then i began to realize that it was a much more intimate way to communicate with friends. The
Sexting on Snapchat spread because of teenagers and by teenagers who wanted to escape from their parents control and have something to do that felt private. “what really makes a new social network become popular fast? Teenagers.”
SnapChat is a photo messaging application (App) developed by Evan Spiegel and Robert Murphy. Both of the founders were Stanford students. The application was initially developed for a project at Stanford. This app allows the user to share photos, videos, add text/drawings, and send them to a controlled list of recipients. Users have the benefit of setting a time limit for how long the recipient can view their snaps (Ranging from 1 - 10 seconds), after which the photos/videos will be hidden from the recipient’s device and deleted from SnapChat’s servers. The smalltime college project developed into a huge social media success due to its innovative feature (Magid, 2013).
Peroratio (Ennumeratio): To summarize, firstly, Snapchat’s ephemeral nature allows for inappropriate photos to be taken, but they can be recorded and reposted; secondly, Snapchat forces users to respond immediately after viewing, trapping them in the app for hours; and thirdly, Snapchat creates mental health problems through ostracizing users from social circles.
Despite the fact that we’re already in the 21st century, society continues to show signs of progress and development strongly leaning towards the direction of advancement, constantly evolving. This pattern is no different from the world of advertising, as it has also evolved through the years and quite recently an unexpected technological innovation took the world by storm. It made such a tremendous impact that eventually led to the transformation of traditional marketing, and it’s no other than social media that we all learned to love.
