The most powerful and lightest weight weapon in our century now is gun. And I believe that a lot of people know how to use guns properly, even without any training, we have been watched too much action movies and learned how to use gun eventually. But there is one thing we must understand, which gun can protect us from harm, and it can also hurt us in deeply. That is why most of countries strictly enforce the right of guns ownership; moreover, some countries even do not allow their citizens have guns at home. Because it requires the background check has to be enforced and recorded in every single firearm transaction, no matter it is a transfer from relatives or friends, either share inside families (Obama). The Universal Background is not just being proposed now, and it has already been implemented in several states, such as Colorado and Connecticut. It helps to close private sale loophole, and it also helps to eliminate the risk from the beginning by doing background checks on every transfers, sales, gifts or shares. After a period of implementation, the Universal Background checks achieved great results. In those states that enforced the universal background checks during a firearm transfer, they received 48 percent less gun illegal transaction, and it reduced 38 percent of woman who might be shot by their spouse (Universal Background Checks). Since this policy has achieved such great result, not just in one state, I believe that the Universal Background Check needs to be enforced in every state as soon as possible, because every day, every minute, someone is died from a shooting. The Universal Background Check is not perfect, but at least it is the most effective policy to reduce the gun death for right
