Essay On Why I Want To University Application

After four years of high school, there is only one goal I have in mind. That goal is to attend college. This is the next big step in my life. All the late nights I stayed up to complete school assignment was for this moment. All my hard work was has lead me to this point in life. College will open a whole new to me. A world where I can meet new people while working to improve my future. Why do I want to attend college though? Well I have three specific reasons for this decision.

Attending college and pursuing a bachelor's degree has been an educational goal of mine for many years. To attain that goal, I conducted research to find a school with a degree plan that mirrors my current career in the US Army. Currently, I am enrolled at Franklin University to attain that goal. While attending Franklin University, I plan on completing a degree in Operations and Supply Management Chain. I decided to choose this degree because I currently work in the field of Logistics in the United States Army.

I come from a low-income family with a household of eight people. I have my dad, my six siblings, and my mother passed away a few years ago. As a first-generation college student I felt so many emotions. I came from a high school that didn’t prepare me for college courses and that became a problem. What made it worse was that my dad didn’t go to college, so I couldn’t go to him for help. I was scared, depressed, unprepared, I was doing everything on my own. I also felt like I didn’t belong because I believed I wasn’t as smart as the other students or “rich” enough. When I first arrived at UC Davis, I was immediately intimidated. All of the other students seemed so educated and professional and I just compared myself to them without even getting to know them. Let me tell you, getting here wasn’t easy and I know it wasn’t easy for you either, so feel accomplished. You made it! Now that you’re in UC Davis, you will be expected to work hard. Times may get rough, but just remember that help is out there. Take advantage and don’t be afraid or ashamed to seek help.

The qualities that differentiate a good pharmacist from an excellent one is confidence, superior education and independence of the person. University of the Pacific (UOP) not only helps to instill these skills, but it is their mission. In order to be the best pharmacist I can be I want to be educated by a facility that has the students best interest in mind and I know UOP will be my best option. I am looking for quality education to prepare me for my future career, a place that puts students first and one with an excellent reputation. All of these qualities are met and surpassed by UOP and the evidence is in the pharmacists that are working in the field today.

There might be a time where people ask you, “why are you in college” or “why to decide to go to college.” People might reply by saying that they want a degree, that they want a higher paying job, or they need that for a future career that they are pursuing. Those responses are the most typical reason of why people go to college. Sure you can say that having a degree means that a person can get a better job with better pay rather than working in the manual labor fields with minimum pay. A college degree is the fundamental stepping stone to the future, it lays the foundation of where to start. College is everything to me; I’m in college so I’m able to unlock more potential in myself, to be able to make my mother proud with everything that she has done and hopefully becoming the first.

An awakening transition took place in my life the day I enrolled into college. I had the concept upon me that with the importance of my college education, positioning myself in the right direction and observing the results of hard work I dedicated myself to, I could bring myself farther than imagined once I reached the point of achievement. This importance of having a college education, enhanced a vision of what I desired for my future. In the light of my enrollment from the beginning, I found that I grasped two deep likings of the business and healthcare industries.

I have goals as to why I want to further my education. I have been accepted to the University of Central Florida, where I plan on attending. I would like to study religion, go on to graduate school, and become a college professor. I had plenty of mountains to climb to get to where I am now. However, a plethora of opportunities helped me to climb those mountains.

The time has finally arrived, college. It’s been a whirl of emotions attending college from intimidation of not knowing exactly how college works or where my classes would be to an exciting anticipation to explore the city of Miami up close. I’m the first in my family to go to college and it is an honor. I’ve always imagined what college would be like and now that I’m here it’s has exceeded all my expectations. The reasons why I’m attending college are for my parents because I want them to see that their hard work was not in vain. Also, for my future family who I hope to provide for one day and lastly for myself because I want to pursue a higher education.

I joined contact sport teams and received special aid tutors to help in my learning. These teams, along with these tutors, provided me with the opportunity to gain this view. The tutors presented me with new ways to study that complimented my inability to focus, such as sitting in the front row and writing my notes. These sports teams provided me with the discipline I needed to put me into place as well as the ability to know when its time to speak up. They provided me with the ability to take my anxiety, and learn to use it to improve my ability to focus and learn, instead of hinder it. Finally, they provided me with mentality to go through life having the heart and the pride to believe in myself and trust that I make the right decisions. It was these skills that gave me the ability to work hard on college entrance exams so that I could get into the school I wanted to go to with a scholarship, which took pressure off my parents to pay for two kids in school

When thinking of myself, the first adjective that comes to my mind is: committed. Commitment to me is the promise that a person makes to others and themselves to follow through when they are needed. It is the act of putting your all into completing a purpose, no matter the challenges you may face on the way there. Whenever I have a goal in mind, my passion for success takes over and my zeal kicks in. I believe in the saying that “If you commit to nothing, you’ll be distracted by everything.” Meaning that if someone really wants to reach a goal in their life, they must be complete devoted to what they pursue. This quote is what follows me throughout my life and the decisions that I make. My entire passion and dedication are engraved in all that I do, and that is where I see a common ground between Lehigh University and myself.

college and universities are essential part of our life. We need to go to a college to think broadly and increase our knowledge. There are so many reasons, people would like to join college and universities. They are attending universities to gain knowledge and learn how to be an independent and how to face the real world.

Many people attend and excel at college but no one stops and asks themselves “Why am I here?” This is the age old question all college students think about, why am I going to school? The answer is unique and personal to everyone, but the most common answers are I want a better life or to secure a future for my kids. These are all valid reasons, but for me personally, I do it to motivate myself and expand my knowledge. I believe that I learn more self-studying because there’s personal incentive and interest in whatever you are learning. For me, reading and watching what I find interesting is enough inventive to learn and keep on learning for a reason. I come to college everyday wanting to be a better person and make my future self-better, so

I am Darrell Jackson and I am 16 years old. I want to go to college at Oakland University or Saginaw Valley State university. I want to get a degree or engineering.This essay will explain my goals and what I plan to do in the future.

In this essay I will identify the reason I want to continue my education through Spring Arbor University. I am currently a registered nurse in an emergency department and have been for almost 6 years. I have been in charge of the unit many times and have enjoyed teaching others. I would like to advance my degree for multiple reasons. The primary reason is that a Master’s degree is distinguishable and shows commitment to the field of nursing. Furthermore, it shows dedication and motivation of an individual to complete a degree that only about ten percent of nurses are able to accomplish.
