Once upon a time on a pleasantly warm and cloudy day, two donut cops thought they were having their same old tiresome day, where they never catch any criminals...or so they thought. When the two donuts were just leaning up against their newly cleaned police vehicle, with the brand new tires that were perfectly shined, they noticed a mysterious green broccoli running for his life with a brown sack and wool black mask on that had holes cut out for the eyes. This got the donuts attention real quick and they thought it was their lucky day where they could finally catch a criminal. They scurried into their automobile and turned on the flashing, loud, red and blue lights. They slammed on the gas pedal and zoomed after the broccoli. The broccoli …show more content…
“Hi my name is Marvin” the broccoli said nervously “I am really sorry if I seemed weird or suspicious to you but I just really need to get to my mom who is about to be eaten by a viscous, humongous, monster called a HUMAN!”
“If this is true then what is in the bag?” said Jim and Tim in-sync.
“It is this magical bread that will make the monstrous human hallucinate and pass out...just for a little so I can save my mom.” said Marvin frantically
The donut cops then inspected the bag and realized Marvin was telling the truth. All three of them then started running to the house in which Marvin’s mom was located in.
They arrived to the house in which was very unusual. The house was very broken down, it had broken windows, chipped white paint, and rotting wood. They scurried in and located the kitchen, where Marvin’s mom and the evil, vicious human was located. They had to hurry because this was no ordinary human. She took all the food she capture and made them work for her. Tim, Jim, and Marvin ran so fast they started knocking everything down...even one of the foods who has been taking over by the human, It was a cute little innocent marshmallow just moving along and cleaning. The marshmallow stumbled down and could not get up, but the boys had no time to help. The three boys then finally reached Marvin’s mom. As they slowly looked up they came eye to eye with the human and everyone’s mouths dropped. Since Jim was the only one thinking he ran as fast he could to the

To tackle the housing affordability, first of all, it is crucial to lift the supply of housing as it will release the pressure on the housing price. Nevertheless, the supply of housing is inelastic as it requires an adequate fund, time, approval from the Government. Besides, the housing system is heavily dependent on the private sector. Thus, the Government should provide initiatives for housing providers to shift the supply of houses in the market. Australia would follow the policies from other countries to tackle the housing affordability. However, it has to fit in the Australian context. These policies might work well in other places but it does not mean that it will be applicable in Australia. The Singapore Government has a public
Bonnie Green, Chief Estimator, agreed that in a normal year only slight delays might develop due to a shortage of labor. However, she pointed out that for such a large project, the company would have to use unionized employees and that the construction industry labor agreements with New York City were to expire on October 30, 2004. Past experience and current construction activity in the surrounding area indicated that any union tradesman would support a strike against the city. Since this is a public project, she estimates that there is a 50% chance that they would strike this project to gain the attention of the national media.

Writing has many tools and devices that can be used to influence the purpose and meaning of the a piece of work. In the two pieces of work, "Private License Plate Scanners Amassing Vast Databases Open to Highest Bidders-which is written in a way that it is anti-license plate tracking- and "Who Has the Right to Track You?'-which is written to be for license plate tracking- many different tools and devices are used by the authors. These pieces of work describe the benefits and drawbacks of collecting data and tracking fellow citizens, but use different forms of pathos, ethos, and logos to portray what they are trying to say. Also, both articles state how many are opposed to this tracking, arguing that it is against the First Amendment,
The arguments I choose to assess for truth and validity will be three statements taken from the Application's list 12.2 (a -y) at the end of Ch. 12, “The Art of Thinking” publication. I will start with the statement (j) the premise that "power must be evil because it can corrupt people." Checking the argument for any hidden premises and ensuring it is stated fully and in a clear concise way is the first step. This argument seems to pass the first hurdle, however after checking for errors affecting truth, the argument has flaws. Beginning with, the part of the argument that says power corrupts people is not true
He captured the store owner’s attention, who immediately grabbed a broom and started swatting at Al. Guido then rushed the store and grabbed the crisp and then, he heard something go terribly wrong on his way out of the store. The store owner caused such a disturbance with his swatting, that his last swing, hit an old woman in the head. Due to the force of the broom, she screamed and fell into an entire row of candy and cookies knocking the once neat shelves, on the floor. The store owner paused to help the old woman that had just been knocked over, and Al saw his chance to head to the front of the building. Al saw Guido and the others standing outside the store with the bag of crisps. As Al finally cleared the store he met the other three, and the four proceeded straight to Luis to prove they could do it. Suddenly with all of the commotion, they became hungry, and decided to eat the bag of crisp. Luis encouraged them to move away from the store for fear the store owner would see them. They did just that and placed the bag of crisp on the

Men know deep down that a woman has emotions attached to an affair, whereas we believe we are detached from serious emotions when we do the exact same thing. If I could make Karen believe that I was capable of letting her grow as she saw fit and totally count on me to be supportive even at the risk of my personal feelings, she would ultimately be loyal to me. Or, at least loyal long enough for me to play house with her without too much emotional damage.
