INTRODUCTION
Pharmacists, also known as chemists or druggists and healthcare professionals who practice in pharmacy, the field of health sciences focusing on safe and effective medication use. A pharmacist is a member of the healthcare team directly involved with patient care.Pharmacists undergo university-level education to understand the biochemical mechanisms and actions of drugs, drug uses, therapeutic roles, side effects, potential drug interactions, and monitoring parameters. Pharmacists receive formal education and training in the basic, clinical, and social sciences. They must have certain knowledge base to be competent at what they do. Beyond knowledge, there are certain ethics that make pharmacists excellent practitioners.

 A pharmacist works collaboratively with other health professionals to optimize the health outcomes of consumers.

WHO IS PHARMACIST????
A person who dispenses the drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners. Pharmacist also provides information to the patient about the medications and their usage. A pharmacist can also advice other health practitioners about drug interactions, side effects and selection of dose. Not only these aspects pharmacist played an important role in developing the nation.
PHARMACIST SKILLS
Active listening - keenly observing what people asking, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
Writing– communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of patient.
Speaking–talking to the patients to convey information effectively.
Management of personnel – developing and directing people in their work, choosing the best people for job.
Science – using scientific rules and methods to solve
