However, given that classical texts do not consider the truly contemporary organisations of today, the company’s ability to have culturally diverse employees working together as one mammoth homogeneous network, proved that organisational culture strongly exists within Etihad. In addition to the above, using the PESTE analysis, the report found a number of issues that have had a dramatic impact on aviation within the past decade. The major issues discovered were the terrorist attacks on September 11th, the global financial crisis, the collapse of the Gadhafi regime in Libya, and major environmental issues of today. Overall, Etihad Airways was found to be a successful contemporary organisation, using philanthropy to make them unique in what appears to be greedy capitalist twenty-first century aviation.
