The public includes mainly the citizens and the people who are surrounded by the entire railway line where, the flammable goods are being carried. The message to be passed should contain all the information regarding the preventive steps to be taken for the transportation of the extra flammable oil and the arrangement of the alerts and the steps that are to be going to be taken immediately if the disaster happens and the steps that are be taken by the first responders and the other public during the disaster and all the preventive steps to be taken and the steps to be taken during the disaster are be clearly disseminated to the public, stakeholders, first responders by using the various social media. First the message should be disseminate by IOWA communication director. The calls for more rail security work force and more finances to pay for preparing crisis responders for an oil train crash. To help pay for both of those needs, the report proposes charging charges for transporting unrefined petroleum by rail through the state. The message should be send on behalf or by the IOWA communication director with the railway authorities and the emergency management system for the successful dissemination of the message and to make sure the disseminated message is true. Once the message is passed receive the feedbacks from the audience through the wall posts, messages or by conducting the polls.
Emergency warnings and alerts should be send to the audiences via email alerts or by posting in status about the potential risks about carrying of the flammable oil across the rail line. The alert notifications should include the protective measures that are to taken if the explosion of the tanks in the rail occurs and the steps to be taken in the emergency situation. Working in the Asset Protection field at Cabela’s for the past two years I have been trained on emergency responses and the process that we have to follow.
