I'm my view, the two most important aspects of design thinking are: Good design and Aesthetic.
Good design means that the design is done well based on the required specification. I considered this was important because the design will give information to the users and enable them to understand the product. A good quality design can attract customers and make sales more profitable, also the product can become popular. I believe the limitations that good design might have are: It may take longer time to ensure good quality production, hence, longer time to finish or more workers may be needed to complete the product within a given time; therefore it could become more costly to produce.
Another limitation which I consider as positive is that some good designs prevent misunderstanding of the use of a product. For example, colour coded parts of a computer help the user to understand where different plugs should be inserted. Therefore good design can limit ignorance or lack

I also learned how to use various software that I had not used before, for example I had learned how to use a software called the compendium, which I had not heard of before. What I had learned about the compendium which took me time to figure out, was how to draw the arrows. I also learned how to upload images onto the open design studio. I have also learned about certain jobs and creators for example a designer called Ross Levengrove who use organic material to create objects and I also learned about another person who was looking at how animals can be affected by some of the things that humans do for example he talked about birds being affected when the trees were being cut down. I believe that I might apply my design thinking by looking at the ideas of other people's work to inform my ideas to ensure that I create a good
I would define design as taking these creative thoughts and ideas, or applying an innovative concept, and putting them into a plan of action. Design is the point at which creativity and innovation become a useful part of a solution. It is the ability to take creative thoughts and manifest them into a tangible object or cohesive solution, and incorporate that into a plan of action to solve a particular problem or take a product to market,
But design thinking is only used by designers? Classically, design thinking is only used in the traditional design fields, which are only painting, sculpture and architecture. But with the development of world, design thinking can apply to different fields. For example, there has a new career called design engineer, who usually works with a team of engineers and designers to develop conceptual and detailed designs. And design engineers have their own design thinking process, which is similar to designers’. It has five steps, ask, image, plan, create and improve. Therefore, design thinking is not only can apply in the design field but also other
Our beliefs, time, money, and actions are all being fought over with design as the arsenal. The graphic designer learns how to participate in this fight through education, intuition, creativity, and technical skills. Though helpful, a formal education in design is not what is meant here. The education needed is more about understanding the previously mentioned rules we are working with. Intuition is required in order to know when it is appropriate to adjust or disregard these rules. Creativity is needed because redundancy will not break through the wall into the internal world. Technical skills are essential because poor craft reduces credibility. This idea of the world as an arena is a reoccurring theme in The Cheese Monkeys, and the importance of education, intuition, creativity, and technical skills have been further reinforced to us through the grading process and classroom discussions in Graphic Design
The fact that technology is evolving every second means that the way we design, create and even advertise it is changed. Designer can go a long way, in many different directions. Even though the innovations introduced have a major positive impact, they do have a negative one as well.
Imagine that you are part of that design team. The project leader has given you the responsibility of creating a design brief that defines the problem, states the expectations that the solution must meet, and identifies the project criteria and constraints. Your design brief will serve as a guide to the team as they work through the design process.
The well-known writer and cognitive scientist/cofounder of the Nielsen Norman Group, Donald A. Norman, in his book, Emotional Design: “Why we love (or hate) everyday things”, he analyzes the design elements in products. Norman’s purpose is to show why products we use should not be hard to use but attractive and fun. He explains in tremendous detail how the design of an object affects a person emotionally. He argues that in order for an object to be more successful it must be more attractive to the users. Norman uses concrete evidence to back up his argument. He employs the use of imagery, diction and tone in order to convey to his readers the idea of emotional design.
First, he thought of the purpose of the design. Was it for a certain company or group, or was it to express something. He had to be creative and include many perspectives in a usually simple design. He also had to make the design interesting to gain it more exposure. He needs to think of what community or demographic will be viewing the design, and fit it to that demographic.
The elements of design were created by Arthur Wesley Dow to help people see, describe, and create visual qualities in a systematic way. It consists of 7 elements: line, shape, form, colour, value, texture and space.
Many of the most innovative designs have solved common problems. Think about products like jackets that turn into sleeping bags for the homeless or paper books that function as water filters (to be used by people living in areas where getting clean water is an issue.) These kinds of projects solved some very real problems in the world today.
What makes a design a bad design? Bad design can be defined as concepts that either do not function as they should or has an unforeseen consequence of what it was intended. One example of a flaw in the design process is screws being stripped. This causes the ability to being fastened into an object or removed from an object to be hindered. The main issue that this brings is that when screws are needed to be removed, they cannot be and can ruin progress in projects. Stripped screws are design flaws because of their ability to stop projects and their inability to repair themselves.
I learned that I input parts that come from my culture. For example, I used Spanish names and made the characters Latin. I learned everyone is different and diverse. We see things in different points of view. A lot of the way we think has to do with the beliefs and customs we grew up with.
Decreasing the creativity on starting concepts and impacting the designers' imaginations are two ways in which designers
The research I did on different ways to approach a corporate identity logo has helped me to know the importance of typography in design. When it comes to corporate identity, I am learning that graphic design is not about making pretty pictures anymore as when I was a kid, but more about marking a business with a brand. I revisited design language in my research, such as balance, and hierarchy. The ability to know and understand what you are talking about in graphic design is important when you are trying to defend your design in a critique.
thinking as it encourages design to focus empathetically on the end user rather than as an afterthought.
Creating an emotional connection to your target market can translate into conversion, sales, as well as online and offline interaction. Good design is a huge part of this process. First to understand the role in design when establishing consumer relationships we have to define design. Design is not simply embellishment, or a way or your site or application to look clean. Design can also be a
