Evolution is the process by which different organisms are thought to have developed and changed from earlier forms throughout the history of the Earth (Aberlin,

2014). Evolution is shown through heritable traits of different biological populations over thousands of generations. Scientists can see these different changes by finding alike traits in unalike animals and comparing their genetics and DNA to see if they share a common ancestor or relative. Earth formed 4.5 billion years ago without oxygen, stocked with volcanos and covered in asteroids, yet somehow life was created. It all started with single cells, then about a billion years later, Earth began to make microorganisms and microbes. As time grew on different amino acids were being formed and mutated and these plants and animals began to grow and their body systems became more and more complex as they adapted and thrived in their surroundings.

In 1868, Charles Darwin created Darwinism, which was the theory that, “Only the strongest and fittest in nature shall survive”. In terms of evolution this means, all species of organisms that are capable of developing through the natural selection of different variations that allow the individual's ability to compete, survive, and reproduce. Only the organisms able to compete, survive, and reproduce are able to fully thrive in a an environment. Darwin was a naturalist who was studying about fourteen species of passerine birds on the coast of the Galapagos Islands, when
