Examining a School Psychologist On November 13, 2015 at 9:00am School psychologist Natasha Noel was interviewed. She currently employed at Ridgewood Park Elementary school in Orlando Florida. Works for and hired by Orange County Public School (OCPS) for a few years. At the present moment she has stated her “clientele depends on students being referred, it varies (Noel, 2015).” She also is a certified Bilingual Phycologist for OCPS. During the week she comes two days weekly to Ridgewood Park to help children who had been referred for several of reasons. She picks up the child from the class and counsels him or her one-on-one. Her job duties are helping children and teens achieved academically, social, behaviorally and emotionally (Noel, 2015). However, it is not an easy task to understand an emotionally disturbed child and to turn him or her around participating in positive feedbacks. This job takes a lot of time, hard work and dedication. Furthermore, there are many advantages that come along with this job profession. To begin with, it is a great feeling to help an individual overcome and face, their challenges they may be experiencing unable to cope alone. School psychologist Natasha Noel stated “she enjoys her career being able to help student refine the aspect of their lives (Noel, 2015).” She helps children with a mental disorder by teaching them to deal with their disorders and disabilities and overthrown mental and emotional difficulties (Noel, 2015).”
