Per Reporter: Reporter stated the child needs to be under the supervision of the court. He adopted child went he was 4 years old. On 9/25/17, around 2am the reporter said he was in the bed and reached for some coco butter. The Holy Spirit told him to reach out and he felt his son standing over him. Reporter stated the police (Officer Jackson and Moore) were called to the home last night at 12:30am because the child was disruptive. The reporter wanted the child taken away and the officers said they could not do much. The officers tried to contact Judge Tom Story to see if he would sign off for the child to go to Sally Kate Winters. The judge did not pick up. This morning, 9/27/17 the child packed a suitcase before he went to school. The reporter called the bus driver (Willie) to ask if the child got on the bus with a suitcase. He said no. A report was received on 06/05/2017 alleging that the mother (Hermionne) left Ashante (C-V 17) with a non-relative since 02/2017 without any legal rights. According to the report, the mother refuses to take her child back home and will not engage with Ms. Aarons (caretaker) to provide legal documentation for the child to be enroll in school and taken to a Primary Care Physician. Ashante has not been is school for the past 4 months and are unable to enroll in school without paperwork. According to the report, Ashante self mutilates her arms, and the mother refuses to get counseling. The report indicates Ashante was to follow-up with a Cardiologist for a chest pain and the mother refuses to take her to the doctor.
PER REPORTER: Marquise lives with the aunt and she possibly has other children in the home. Per reporter, Marquise has been at his home because his son is friends with Marquise. Marquise has been at the reporter's home for about 1 week. It seems that his family doesn't care about him nor are they concerned. They have not came to check on him. Reporter stated he has to feed Marquise and he can't continue to stay at his home. Reporter stated he knows the family gets assistance for him. Marquise said his father pays child support. His father is a man named Lee supposedly. Reporter stated Lee gave a number to a lady named Mary. It is unknown who Mary is. On May 23, 2016, I was assigned this case to follow up. This case involves Ms. Anjelica Cassidy Grim a 17 year old T.C. Williams High School student. I made multiple attempts to located Anjelica at School and at 27 South French Street (home). On May 27, 2016, I spoke to Sal Gnim (mother) who reported her daughter returned home the next day. She confirmed that her daughter had been out with her boyfriend. Sal told me that they had a conversation and cleared the conflict up. Sal reported that this was the first time her daughter had runaway. I received permission from Sal to speak to her daughter in School.
The case was brought to DCFS attention when a reporter stated on 7/11/17, OPWI attempted to obtain an emergency order of protection on behalf of Kiara (age 7). Reportedly Ashley (mother) is actively using METH and also methodone she gets from a clinic, and is also involved in prostitution. EREPORT # 19130 stated the following: The child is at Diamond Grove Center. Mya reported that 7 years ago her cousin Charron raped her when she was 8 years old. They stayed overnight with their relatives and Charron took off her clothes while they all slept in the same bed. Onautyca, Deja, her, and Charron slept in the big bed together. Mya reports thst she told her mother, but her mother didnt do anything about it. Two weeks ago, Mr. Knight was contacted by law enforcement with suspicions that Will stole someone’s gun and sold it. According to the reporter, the child’s father made contact with him to tell him he’d been evicted from his home and did not know where Will was. The reporter stated Mr. Knight is a truck driver and has been living in his truck; Will was left with his grandmother after they were evicted. There are concerns that the mother hits the children in the back with her fist and pops them onthe head. They have no marks or bruises. Per reporter, mom is addicted to marijuana and she constantly smokes around the children. Mom is currently pregnant. Mom purchases drugs on the street. PER REPORTER: Bryanna's father and mother have joint equal custody. The child has lived with the father apporximately 6 years in Louisiana. The mother lives in Natchez. In Louisiana, when a child turns 13 they have a choice where they want to live if it goes through the court. The father allowed the child to go live with the mother 3 months ago. REPORTER: The reporter/cousin (Sherry) called with concerns for the victim, Tanning. According to Sherry, Tanning is not being physically abused or neglected. The reporter said she is concerned and worried about the child. The reporter said Tina rides around with the child in the “front seat” (unknown when) and he’s not properly restrained (seat belt over his stomach but not his arms). Also, the reporter said she has pictures of Tina driving down the road with the child in the front seat, not properly strapped in.
