When we talk about tricksters and heros, we think of people who lie and cheat their way through life. We also think about people who “save people” and is looked up to by everyone. Well, we aren’t entirely wrong. Let’s take the Joker for example. He is considered a trickster to some people because he likes to play games with Batman and the city and citizens of Gothem. He always says he’ll kill a bunch of people, but he never really does unless it’s absolutely necessary. The Joker goes around playing games and tricks, and that makes Batman mad. He plays with people’s minds and that’s the reason we call the Joker a trickster. Batman, however, would be considered a hero. He saves people and Gothem from the Joker, even if the Joker is setting

The word “hero“ is a very short word with a very long meaning. The image that comes up when most people hear the word “hero“ is normally a man with a cape, tights, and a “S” in the middle of his chest, along with a chiseled jaw, muscular arms and body, and dreamy eyes. This image is often thought of when the word “hero” pops up in conversation, although you don’t have to have supernatural powers or fight against evil mad scientists to be considered as a hero.

Although, they sometimes use their tricks to the aid of others by changing the ideas and ways of life of the people they trick. When you think of a hero, you shouldn't automatically think of Superman or Ironman. Lots of people can be heroes. For instance, several characters from S.E Hinton’s The Outsiders are heroic. Three characters in The Outsiders that are heroes are Ponyboy, Johnny, and Darry.
First, let me define an epic hero from my point of view. From my point of view, an epic hero is someone who is strong, powerful, and keeps with the task at hand and finishes it. An epic hero is someone that encounters many obstacles, but pushes through those obstacles and gets things done. Batman is a modern day epic hero because he displays many of the qualities of an epic hero included above. He can be compared to Odysseus in many ways. It is thought that all of us have some type of trickster within us, whether it may be conscious or
Kind and selfish, deep and shallow, male and female, and foolish and wise aren’t always words that are associated with each other, quite the opposite in fact. However, when it comes to the trickster tales of Native Americans, each word is associated with the other and describes more or less the same person or animal. To Native American people a trickster affects the world for an infinite number of reasons, including instruction and enjoyment. A trickster, like the name implies, is a cunning deception. A trickster can be a hero. However, at the same time he could introduce death. How is that heroic? Why would a group of people want to remember a person that brings punishments such as death? The function the trickster tales have/ had on

However, images such as those of veterans meeting their relatives in tears use emotional appeal to convince their viewers so those viewers are far more likely to agree with the message behind photo. In a sense, photographs can have a powerful impact on how one sees and interpret the message that comes with an image.
Though Batman tries to be portrayed as a hero, he is only a vigilante since he helps the law, but is not a part of it. This means that he fights crime, but is not a member of the police force or other civil duties that
“A hero is someone who, in spite of weakness, doubt or not always knowing the answers, goes ahead and overcomes anyway.” - Christopher Reeve. Average everyday people face many challenges and overcome them most of the time, but there are certain challenges they just give up on. They start getting into a certain mindset where they claim they can’t overcome the challenge. A hero, however, sticks to the right mindset and keeps trying and getting better, despite the obstacles facing them. Even though they aren’t always able to save everything all the time, heroes risk and strive to reach their goals and do their best while exhibiting determination and modesty.
