For this example of responsive care, I will describe an event where the assistant exercised responsive to a toddler. To illustrate this event, there was a bridge in the facility, where toddlers can play by crossing over backwards and forwards. Such little exercise is actually part of the program to help toddlers to improve standing, walking including balance control. In this example, two toddlers were near by the bridge; Dylan a toddler of sixteen months, mastering the bridge, followed by a second toddler named Jake of only thirteen months. During this event, Jake was following Dylan; nonetheless, he started to stay behind since he can barely knows how to walk. As a matter of fact, Jake was not just staying behind; he started to show signs
A healthcare science assistant supports healthcare science practitioners, clinical scientists and others in a variety of areas of healthcare science. They can be phlebotomists, which are people who take blood, cardiographers, who monitor the heart, or respiratory technicians, who measure the rate of breathing. A healthcare science assistant can work in the lab or work with patients at an office or a hospital, and they usually work 37.5 hours a week. This can include evenings and weekends. They often deal with sterile lab conditions which may include dealing with unpleasant or challenging sights and smells, like for example urine, blood, or infectious bodily fluids.
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center was founded in 1884 as New York Cancer Hospital on Manhattan’s upper west side by a group that included John J. Astor and his wife, Charlotte. According to WebMD they stated that in 1899, the name was changed to General Memorial Hospital for the treatment of cancer and allied diseases. In 1916, the word “General” was dropped and the new name became Memorial Hospital for the treatment of cancer and allied diseases. In 1936, the hospital began a move to their present location on York Avenue, on land that was donated by John D. Rockefeller, Jr., and the new Memorial Hospital opened in 1939. The building, which was reconstructed between 1970 and 1973, stands on the site

The purpose of this paper is to conduct an in depth exploration of the nursing care considerations of patients in a specific clinical area. Through the synthesis of prior knowledge, clinical experiences and skills, evidence based best practices, and care of patients a comprehensive care and teaching plan will be composed. Integration of critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills, combined with evidence-based research will provide confirmation of nursing process comprehension. The inclusion of reviewed literature will further support knowledge and understanding.
• Every child is an individual – with different needs depending on their age and abilities, for an example, when physical play is involved more consideration must be given to a child who has become mobile than to an older child, when
Providing additional help that is appropriate, proportionate and timely: providing help as early as possible and considering short and long-term needs by needing to focus on the primary needs of the child (core needs) first as needs may be many needs so it is appropriate to meet the most demanding needs first then work out from that need to other needs as a structured response.
The Pre-Birth to Three document that I work with highlights that responsive and caring adults are essential for babies and young children to develop and thrive. Practitioners must be aware of attunement which means having the skills needed to enable them to tune in to babies and young children. This determines needs by close observations of the sounds, movements, expressions and body language displayed. We already know that babies are born ready to make connections with the outside world and we must be ready to read these signs in order to develop the skills needed to interact with the wider community. This is something that I have at the forefront of my mind whenever I am working with the children. I am an avid believer that

As a childcare practitioner it is important that I am able to recognise when a child in their early years may have a range of learning needs. To be able to understand the way I need to work with others to ensure that the learning plan that is in place for this child has a positive impact on their health, development and learning. To ensure I am offering an inclusive practice where the child is supported and feels valued and is helping them towards achieving the Five Outcomes of The Every Child Matters Framework.
IntroductionThis article touches up on many main points in Nurse Assisting. Authors talk about manynew ways to implement change in Long Term Care Originations. They talk about teamwork, training, and enhancing work strategies. I definitely agreed with this article, with wanting to be aCNA and depending on where I end up working I think it is good that people are wanting tomake these changes.DevelopmentSome key points in this article were how integrating new recruits to manage heavyworkloads in LTCOs can be hard to manage, the enhancements of informal work strategies, andthe debate on if teamwork is a “deterrent to change” or a “lever for change”. Somethings I foundstriking about this article was the heavy load management. In the article one nurse assistantexplained that during training they are told to take all the time the need, but when you startworking in the organization they are told they have 45 minutes with a resident, but actually haveno more than 15 minutes.
Patient was encouraged to perform some activities of daily living such as feeding, grooming. She was encouraged to verbalize less fear of falling because anytime we want to reposition her, she will scream that she will fall. Patient was also anxious but we used distraction (TV) to reduce her anxiety. I wrote her favorite movie on the white board so that anybody can put it on for her.
Complete the following table for each of the diseases assigned to you in NFS 715. The purpose of this assignment is to teach you how current research and evidence summaries are used to influence patient care.
The very features common to myths (especially in the ANE) prove the distinct nature of biblical revelation (57-62). The biblical worldview differs diametrically from the views of extrabiblical cultures and their myths (63). The characteristics of biblical thought was defined in this chapter(e.g., monotheism, iconoclasm, the Spirit as first principle). Continuity: The Basis of Mythical Thinking” is a short (15 pages) but impressive analysis of the fundamental aspects of continuity in religious thought. A close study of this chapter alone would stimulate a great deal of thought and would open the eyes of many a reader who has not been able to put their finger on the common elements in pagan world-pictures.
The ancient Greeks were unique and had a one of a kind culture which would heavily influence the Western world. Their literature would bring forth works that intertwined religious, philosophical, mythological, and political all in one. From the Bronze Age to the Dark Age, the ancient Greeks would be innovators for practices we have become accustomed to, such as philosophy, democracy, literature and even theatricals. During this time, most that had been illuminated had been lost in the Dark Ages, yet thanks to Homer, a Greek writer, some of Greeks’ lost age was recorded and survived centuries to come.
