In the current section of the paper two examples of the YouTube scandals will be presented and discussed. The first case study will demonstrate the good example of the YouTube scandal related to the ghostwriting and its following spreading over the traditional and social media. The second example will demonstrate the implication of the atonement model and the sense of the public apology after the scandal. 3.1. YouTube Scandal 1 3.1.1. The journalist of UK newspapers “Telegraph” had an interview with publisher of the novel and as a result in December 2014 published an article with the confirmation that the novel was ghostwritten.
