Abstract

Pest is an organism that is damaging to livestock, crops, humans, and land. Because of this problem, this study was conducted by the researchers by using garlic and black pepper after they found out that these materials have the ability to control pests. Significance of the Study Today, there are many ways to control pests. However, it is too much expensive for those farmers who could not afford to buy it because they do not have enough money. Now for them to have an alternative solution to pests, garlic and black pepper as pesticide is introduced to them. Even without modern science’s help, they could still find a remedy on nature’s finest. The dealer of the garlic and black pepper will also benefit to this study because when the crops are healthy and pests free, their income will increase because of its high productivity. Also, it will give no harm to people and environment because of its non-toxic components.
Scope and Limitation The researchers focused on the garlic and black pepper as pesticide on controlling pests. Specifically, this pesticide irritated and killed the pests.The researchers only used ground black pepper and ground garlic. The size of the garlic and black pepper did not affect the effect of the pesticide. The effect of the pesticide will depend on the amount of application.
