Nowadays, there is so much conflict and injustice everywhere. There are disputes because of religious differences, there is not equality, not good quality of life, there is low quality of life, healthcare, and human rights abuse. In the United States, Donald Trump's election has raised concerns about human rights and conflicts in the future. In Venezuela, Democracy has been reduced by the Socialist party and people have been sent to jail for belonging to the opposition political party. Moreover, the country where I have been raised is no not the exception. Colombians have been struggling because of the issues earlier mentioned. Recently, there was a peace agreement that was signed by our president named Juan Manuel Santos and the insurgent group called FARC. A lot of people are afraid of what would happen in the future due to the peace agreement that was signed. Many people were supporting it but half of the country voted against it. This situation happened because half of the population who voted on the for a referendum believe that the insurgent group named FARC should be penalized for breaking human rights abuses in all forms. For them, it is not fair and not just to allow people who were revels and terrorists to be part of the Congress, regulate rules, etc., while exemplary citizens need to work harder do and study a lot to be lucky to be part of the Congress. I studied languages in my undergraduate degree as a way to get people to talk to and listen to each other. Although I have not worked in the peace and justice setting yet, I have encouraged others to be just, fair and peaceful in my own community. I have encouraged others to have a balance in these three elements when dealing with their life routines and matters. Then, my first goal is to create or lead a program that can introduce seminars, classes, subjects and credits about peace and justice from elementary school to university education, in all programs. My second life goal would be to promote these subjects as undergraduate and graduate programs everywhere I can around the world. My third goal would be to have interaction with vulnerable places where peace and justice programs can be operated. Fourthly, the most important goal would be to promote the previous goals in my country and the United States if possible, so they can be achieved and generate peace and justice improvements in my country with the cooperation of others. Finally, I would like to work in association with or by governmental organizations or non-governmental organizations to promote peace and justice. If we all can take small steps towards peace, we can achieve it successfully. This would be the way how I would be personally and professionally

The reason is simple: regime changes in Colombia tend to produce very little change in anything other than nominal rule. Since Colombia's independence from Spain in the early 19th century, Colombia has seen a series of civil wars and secessions (Venezuela, Ecuador, and Panama the last coming rather conveniently at a time when the U.S. was prepared to pay millions for a canal through its nation preparation that later resulted in a multi-million dollar redress to Columbia). Colombia's political history, therefore, has been colored by outside influences pulling on the two dominant liberal and conservative parties, with violent exchanges, and long periods of instability being the consequences. While regime changes have occurred, they have not produced significant improvements. Rather, Colombia in the 20th century has become a nesting ground for paramilitary forces and drug traffickers, with U.S. Central Intelligence operatives contributing heavily to the violent conflict that has risen between regimes. This paper will examine the regime types that preceded the Rojas Pinilla regime in mid-20th century Colombia, analyze their similarities and differences, and discuss the extent to which Rojas Pinilla reached his goals and objectives.

The Conservatives, also known as Los Conservadores was a historical, political party located in Panama. This movie exemplifies much injustice that happens within El Salvador. It is shown how it is very hard to find a separation between church and state. This is hard because their Government is killing their own people, not only that, but they are hiring people to kill the people so that it doesn’t seem as if the government is against the people. I would like to bring social justice to individual lives by advocating for equality and ensuring access to basic resources for the most underserved populations in our communities. I have been involved in community advocacy with different organizations for most of my adult life, and I have always believed that if there is a problem work talking about then there also are solutions worth exploring and implementing. I’ve had a long-term interest in the field of social work, however it was in 2008 that I decided this was the field for me. I had the opportunity to volunteer with the PeaceJam Foundation at a local conference; PeaceJam is an organization that works with 14 Nobel Peace Laureates to mentor youth, creating young leaders committed to positive change in themselves, their communities, and the world. The impact that I witnessed on the young incredible lives was a defining moment; I knew that I was going to pursue a Masters in Social Work; it feels like a calling rather than the unfulfilling office career I once pursued.
Historically, Colombia has opposed the ELN and their attempts at gaining power within the country. However, there has been corruption by government and military officials. The corruption comes in the way of support for the ELN (Stanford, 2012).
