In the novella Of Mice and Men. George refers to Curley's Wife as a tramp. In some respects, both George and Curley’s wife could be considered a tramp. The exact definition of tramp is “A person who travels from place to place on foot.” Curley’s Wife could be seen this way because George thinks that she is traveling from man to man, flirting with everyone. George can be viewed this was because he has to travel from job to job after Lennie gets them chased out. In this retrospec, George does not fully know Curley’s wife, so he does not know that his statement is true. Curley’s Wife may be viewed as a tramp in some other ways.
